Just a fellow weeb. I am mostly binging series for comedy, but i do like anime with gorgeous Art. My favorite genres are comedy/parody and slow life/ healing anime.

camp fire cooking / Isekai Nonbiri nouka / Non Non biyori / barakamon are all good examples of relaxing anime where characters are chill most of the time. I don't need to watch tragedies / trainings / drama / hardships in anime. I would rather watch a relaxing show without having to strain my brain.

Comedy / Parody -> After watching all kinds of genres (shounen, Isekai, ecchi harems, romcoms), you get bored of cliches/tropes. you start to crave "meta" anime which are self aware of cliches/tropes and comment upon them or subvert them somehow. eg: kanojo mo kanojo, kono suba etc...

I also watch any pandering shows like isekai/harem/ecchis with quality writing or lots of explicit fan service.
