Welcome to shqtz's dorm
I am shqtz. I enjoy anime as a hobby. The first anime I ever watched was Rascal Does Not Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai, so I’m very biased toward it. My second anime was Naruto, which is why I got into shonen in the first place.
I love all kinds of drama works. Recently, I’ve come to prefer watching 28-episode series and can no longer tolerate slow-running 1 season shows.
My criteria for rating anime are as follows:
10/10 means I loved the series and enjoyed watching it, regardless of whether it truly deserves that score or not.
7-9/10 means I didn’t enjoy most of it, but it deserves a high rating due to excellent art or story.
5-6/10 means I didn’t enjoy it at all, and I wouldn’t recommend watching it.
Below 5/10 means I hated it and wish I had never watched it.
I have one rule: If I start an anime, I must finish it. (This only goes for the anime's i choose to start on)
Clannad/Clannad After Story
This piece of fiction is the one that made me realize the height of ''Anime Drama'' even if i got into it as a side-anime to watch every morning while getting ready for school, it still hit me hard. The fact that i never checked the rating but got into it because i
saw it on YouTube made it hit extra hard. First season of Clannad really hooked me up with its Romance that i almost forgot i was watching something that was focused on ''Drama'' this addiction helped me to continue watching it and get to know the characters and connect with them personally. Which made Season2 (Clannad After Story) hit so hard it broke me at some point during my 1st time watching it. I'm not lying when i say this but i don't even cry to real-life shows. Nor did i ever get sad while watching them, however this anime was the one that made me realize how big of an story an anime can have and what kind of emotions it can bring. Overall %100 recommended just keep watching until the end of S2. You won't regret it.
