Yeah, that's also why I like Tsukigakirei so much. It almost feels like not anime because of how realistic it was in terms of storytelling. I suggested "Just Because" on your post on reddit but I just remembered that there's also this very wholesome and underrated movie you might like. The title is "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish".
