Polygon Pictures' Godzilla trilogy is pretty fucking rad in terms of fully 3DCG anime. I recommend it. I have an essay written about it, but I haven't yet posted it. Give me some time. :D

As for manga, you've got the wrong guy. I've never really enjoyed the format, same with comic books. Like, I'll read a book or I'll watch a movie/series. This in-between combination format of text plus images doesn't speak to me. As far as I'm concerned, be text, or be video, or be nothing. Granted, I've read a select few, such as Berserk, but that's just because the anime made me so infuriatingly curious to know what happens next, I couldn't help it.


Still, I want to watch the Houseki anime. I keep hearing good things about it, such as it being one of the few anime that's better in 3DCG. I'm gonna be honest. I'm extremely skeptical, but I still want to give it an honest try.
