True. As you might be able to tell, I'm a huge mecha-fag, so most of my favorite shows are dominated by giant robots beating the crap out of each other

Honestly, its been YEARS since I watched it. But I absolutely despised Shinji, disliked both Asuka and Rei, and really hated the ending of both the series and movie. Evangelion is a show I probably should give a second chance, but I just have a really bad mental image of it thats hard to shake.

That's unfortunate, though I wouldn't expect the South to provide much in the way of symphony orchestras, stereotypically speaking.
I just happened to be off of school for the start of San Diego's 2010-2011 season and they were wonderful in deciding to begin with Mahler, so my father took me and my girlfriend for a night out and such (paying for concerts otherwise would be pretty tough, though it would be only about $20 for cheap seats, and Resurrection is well worth it). I'm looking at having to pay probably $70+ to see Godspeed You! Black Emperor in February, so I'll probably be holding off on any concert-going between now and then...

Guess who heard Mahler's Second Symphony performed yesterday at the SDSO? :V
