Both anime are about wanting to 'Unite' a nation (Kingdom - China, Oda Nobuna - Japan). Both stories give a similar vibe as they both tell the story of a young male who is assisting his 'Lord' in one way or another.
Kingdom has the story of a young male who through brute strength wishes to help his lord where as Oda Nobuna the young protagonist aims to assist his lord through tactical means.
