Bakuten!!

Feels similar. Emotional atmosphere. Bonding between the characters. Full of drama. Genius prodigies. Though in Tsurune, the main character is one of said prodigy, while in Bakuten, he's a struggling beginner. Both anime center around small teams that have barely enough members to compete. Both shows have the pressure to succeed. To not let the team down.
The main characters of both fall in love with the sport at first experience. But in Tsurune, he got the yips and spends the anime overcoming and rediscovering his love. The supervisors/coaches of both clubs are young and were also child prodigies
Although the MCs are quite different, the two animes have a similar feel. They are both incredibly freeing and stunning - whether it is soaring into the sky while doing multiple backflips, or the gorgeous, crisp sound of releasing an arrow. Gives me goosebumps when watching them perform their art!
- School club setting
- Beautiful scenery when characters get immersed in their respective sports
- Team sports, revolving around teamwork
- The MC play in an underdog team
- Characters with unique personalities and designs
- Amazing development of bonds between boys, teammates
