both slow-burn, gentle and very sweet, heart warmin first-love stories. one is more from the male, the other up until the last ep from the female perspective.
personally i think "a star brighter than the sun" is the better one. i do not understand the rating. it dives a bit deeper into the insecurities of both characters and the back-and-forth-moving-slow makes more sense than in "the fragrant flower...", which - especially in the beginning - is boarderline boring at times. "a star brighter.." is also more mature in its style and genuinely funny at few occasions, which makes it more light-hearted and human.
