It's full of over the top action and BA characters just like Trigun, but better.
Much like Trigun, Hellsing is a series that touts a lanky, charismatic, red-coated gunslinger known for grinning in the face of death all while sporting John Lennon sunglasses. Though the comparisons may stop there, Alucard is no less of an intriguing protagonist outside of his charismatic bloodlust.
Beneath a veneer of flashy blood and gore, Hellsing, much like Trigun, touts a genuinely thought provoking message about the human existence.
What makes a man different from a monster? Why do we hold so dearly to the sanctity of human life? And what happens when said life is no longer considered sacred?
