A boxer who is a loser suffers from gluttony, which almost puts an end to his career. But, thanks to chance or God's will, he wins the fight he trained for the entire running length.

There is nothing special about this anime. The animation is below average, and the main character is alienating because of his stupidity. The plot is ridiculous, and the religious theme exists only to create a forbidden romance between a novice and a simpleton.

Rumiko Takahashi was so popular in the '80s that anything she created made it to the screen. Only ardent fans of this mangaka should watch it.
