Synopsis

After being trapped in the world of Elder Tale for six months, Shiroe and the other Adventurers have begun to get the hang of things in their new environment. The Adventurers are starting to gain the trust of the People of the Land, and Akiba has flourished thanks to the law and order established by Shiroe's Round Table Alliance, regaining its everyday liveliness. Despite this success, however, the Alliance faces a new crisis: they are running out of funds to govern Akiba, and spies from the Minami district have infiltrated the city.

As formidable forces rise in other districts, there is also a need to discover more about the vast new world they are trapped in—leading Shiroe to decide that the time has come to venture outside the city. Accompanied by his friend Naotsugu and the Sage of Mirror Lake Regan, the calculative Shiroe makes his move, hoping to unravel new possibilities and eventually find a way home.

Season 2: Good but with less rewatchable quality

Compared to S1, this next adventure in the Log Horizon files does feel like a big step back and a disappointment. The first episode's structure was to entice people about what's to come, but really it only left a confusing mess. It didn't help that the next 6 or 8 episodes were really slow. S2 had a lot of trouble balancing the two separate plotlines and may have lingered on them longer than necessary.

Another hard pill to swallow when it comes to S2 is that it doesn't begin to be as interesting as S1 until much later. The ...

Mixed Feelings
TO START OFF;

YES, the pacing is significantly slowed down compared to season one,

I RECOMEND watching it how u would watch filler,
(if you watch 'filler' because thats kinda what this season compiles,

What i mean is doing other things on the side like doing something that doesnt take up your complete attention,

WHY I DO/DID THIS; the storyline is stretched out, and the character buildup they try to do to mask it up doesn't work enough to grab your attention like it should,
...

Why does the story think I care about other characters if I never really learned about them, until they are directly involved to some conflict?

The story does not revolve around the main character, and yet, they take too long to finish side character's arc. I dont know about everyone else, but I dont really care about side characters. Im not a big fan watching kids or MC's friends. But, the whole season spends too much time on kid's screen time, MC's friend's story arc, MC's friend's friend's story arc, and MC's friend's friend's opponent's story arc. MC just claims that he is busy with paperwork, ...
