The main theme song is an absolute banger! I have been hearing the main theme play on time to time, and by the end of the season, it got me locked in on looking for the piece. Story-wise, I liked the idea and how flexible the story can be. However, I think the main character needs to find his passion sooner or later before he loses his audience. This could be a factor, but the pacing became a little weird after the first half. It felt slow, and almost no progression. The characters are thought out and designed well. Story could be more. A lot of the chatter in this anime was an overkill.
I think they did a good job making the most boring part, smallest details of side characters, entertaining. However, it gets annoying when I hear that longest chatter of the smallest details for the third time. Perhaps the target audience is not me, but I do not have a short term memory. When the characters in this anime are this memorable, I can remember them no problem. But this anime decides to explain the smallest details from the beginning multiple times. I haven't been so out of interest when I heard this koala speak ...

Why does the story think I care about other characters if I never really learned about them, until they are directly involved to some conflict?
The story does not revolve around the main character, and yet, they take too long to finish side character's arc. I dont know about everyone else, but I dont really care about side characters. Im not a big fan watching kids or MC's friends. But, the whole season spends too much time on kid's screen time, MC's friend's story arc, MC's friend's friend's story arc, and MC's friend's friend's opponent's story arc. MC just claims that he is busy with paperwork, ... |
