Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai

Nariyuki Yuiga, an impoverished third-year high school student, works tirelessly to receive the VIP nomination, a scholarship that would cover all of his college tuition fees. In recognition of his hard work, the headmaster awards him the renowned scholarship.

However, this scholarship is given under one condition: he must tutor the school's geniuses in their weakest subjects! Joining his new brigade of pupils are the math maestro Rizu Ogata, who wants to study humanities; the literature legend Fumino Furuhashi, who wants to study science; and Yuiga's sports-savvy childhood friend, Uruka Takemoto, who is hopeless at everything else.

Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai follows Yuiga as he tries to teach his three eccentric tutees in a series of strange and comedic antics. But as Ogata's and Furuhashi's ambitions conflict with their talents, will Yuiga be able to help his students achieve their dreams?

Before I started this review, I actually watched this series back in 2019 when it began airing because people kept saying it's "better" than TQQ. Well, to my pleasant surprise, it was decent. I quite like the show but not same level as TQQ and to top it all off, this is RomCom, not DraRom, like TQQ.

The story is just plain but quite funny. I enjoy every character interaction in the series it's your typical RomCom and it's done just enough to make your day great. To say this is better than TQQ is just a delusion. TQQ tackled a quintuple situation and they nailed ... it so much but WNL is more like let's group up 5 female characters into this one man. Basically, it's your typical Harem but with a TQQ story setting, in which the MC is a tutor.

OST is very good. Like I said with all of the reviews I've done, if the music and animation goes on well I'm going to like it nonetheless. I like the theme song especially. Both OP and ED are so memorable.

The animation is god-like. The OP animation is breathtaking, the ED animation is so unique, and the show itself has a very decent animation. It's like a match made in heaven, it's very balanced.

The characters in this series are just perfect unless we're talking about one of the characters like the clerk, Nariyuki's mom's boss. I'm in love with all of the characters here. I might've watched a few harem anime but boy I never thought that each, at least the main, girls had right-wing women. Like, dear lord, that was so cute.

And also don't forget about the performance of the VA. All of them did a fantastic job, especially Nariyuki's siblings. Man, I can't get enough of how cute the three of them are.

Overall, a very fun watch unless we're talking about the sequel. I'll be talking about that on the page but this season alone I give it 6.9/10. The funny number.

Just a decent rom-com.

The story follows the same lines as other rom-coms, each episode focusing on a heroine and subtly developing a romance; it only lacks a beach and fireworks episode to be a generic romance. The characters don't deviate from the typical anime pattern of the same niche: we have the short character, the more laid-back character, the character who nags the protagonist, and even the character who is a childhood friend. However, even though it seems like a generic romantic comedy, I still managed to like two characters from the small cast the anime has (Uruka Takemoto and Asumi Kominami), so the anime ... gets something right.

Basically, a rom-com where the only uniqueness is the study theme.

Apenas um rom-com decente.

A história segue a mesma linha de outros rom-com, cada episódio focando em uma heroína e desenvolvendo sutilmente um romance, apenas falta um episódio de praia e de fogos de artifício para ser um romance genérico. Os personagens não saem do padrão típico de animes do mesmo nicho, temos a personagem baixinha, a personagem mais tranquila, a personagem que pega no pé do protagonista e até mesmo a personagem que é amiga de infância. Porém, mesmo parecendo uma comédia romântica genérica, ainda consegui gostar de 2 personagens do pequeno elenco que o anime tem (Uruka Takemoto e Asumi Kominami), então o anime acerta em algo.

Basicamente um rom-com onde a única singularidade é o tema de estudos.

It is the typical series with a good premise but quite badly presented, it is pure and clear love where you are not going to look much into the protagonists or what they think, there are going to be many scenes that will become a bit uncomfortable for some people and others are going to like it a lot because it will involve a lot of misunderstandings between the girls and our protagonist, which is what this whole season is based on and I think the whole series, there are many better options than watching this series and several are superior in many Aspects, if ... you really want to see something good, I would not recommend this love series, you may like the morbidity but in truth it will not fill you with anything because in general nothing ever happens.

Es la típica serie con buena premisa pero bastante mal presentada, es amor puro y neto en donde no se va a buscar mucho en los protagonistas o en lo que ellos piensan, eso si va a haber muchas escenas las cuales llegarán a ser un poco incómodas para algunas personas y a otras les van a gustar mucho porque involucrará muchos mal entendidos de las chavas con nuestro protagonista que en eso se basa toda está temporada u creo que toda la serie, hay muchas mejores opciones que ver está serie y varios son superiores en muchas aspectos, si en verdad quieres ver algo bueno no te recomendaría está serie de amor, el morbo te podrá llegar a gustar pero en verdad no te llenará nada porque en general nunca pasa nada.
