Joshikausei

This little slice of life gem seems to be quite overhated based on the score and reviews. The anime has a simple slice of life premise of 3 high school girls getting into various awkward or amusing situations. The gimmick is that there is no dialogue. Each episode is 3 minutes long and doesn't waste any of that short time.

Joshikausei is lewd, but it isn't super raunchy and is often mixed with slice of life wholesomeness. A common criticism is that it could use some dialogue, but dialogue would take away from the chill vibe that this anime provides and would make some of its ... awkward scenes significantly more awkward. It doesn't need dialogue and if anything is much better for not having it.

While not being any sort of masterpiece, Joshikausei is a great way to kill time and just chill out for a while. It's a perfectly mid anime with its own charm and is worth the watch if you're looking for something light and don't mind some fan-service.

Well... This show certainly exists. The manga is also with no dialogue. But that would work far better in manga format. And since in anime format they couldn't really make it silent they added caveman grunts and some other unindentified calls and bellows. A honestlly uninspired decision. They could've just made some dialogue to fit the context really.

Of course, this is also a three minutes per episode show... So much can't be expected. Except there's plenty of other anime that come to mind that actually are very watchable even with their very limited time. One such example would be Okusama ga seitokaichou,who actually has two ... seasons,and it's a very enjoyable watch regardless. Then there's the random bullying episode where they are literally ripping her hair out for a crazy reason. Something that didn't really belong in what's supposed to be a light hearted refreshing anime,something that i personally watch in-between shows.

It's wierd,it's ... something. Certainly not for everybody,but it's still just 3minutes an episode for 12,so you even if you end up disliking it it's not really that much time lost.There's plenty of worst ways to spend your time.

Do you have 40 minutes to spare? Go watch something else.

I was hesitant to continue after the first episode and I should've stopped then but part of me was hoping it really couldn't be that bad. I usually don't dislike what I set out to watch but man this show was incredibly boring.

A little sad to say but don't waste your time, you'll just be disappointed. There isn't really any story, the art is decent but the characters are very bland -maybe it's because they don't speak, you dont really get an impression of their type of character. Would've probably disliked it less ... if the characters actually spoke. Can't say it made me want to read the manga.
