Synopsis

Born into a loving family, Femicia appears to have a bright future ahead of her. When she finally turns five, the time comes to go to the church to have her skills appraised. However, while she does receive a monster tamer skill, it turns out that Femicia has zero stars for that ability. To make matters worse, society considers those who have zero stars to be harbingers of misfortune; as a result, Femicia is shunned by everyone—including her family.

Soon enough, Femicia is chased out of her village and is constantly on the run. Fearing for her life, she decides to masquerade as a boy and change her name to Ivy. With a goal given to her by a fortune teller to reach the royal capital, Ivy meets and successfully tames a slime, starting an unlikely friendship that may provide a means to get the destiny she deserves.

Reviews

I read some of the manga like 3 years agoish and it doesn't quite follow it at all at the start which is fine according to other reviews they really liked it. My main thing is the art style sucks absolute booty hole in the anime. The manga's art style was kinda good not revolutionary but kinda good still but the anime? Terrible. the animation too just sucked. Also I dropped it when there were no action scenes because I hate slice of lifes because theres never good art never good animation or even scenes that would merely require them and a lackluster storyline along ...

Mixed Feelings
I didn't really finish this anime but I still loved parts of it not all of them and that's why am giving a mixed review

The opening is some of the best I have ever heard the art the anime is so good
Now the problem is the pacing which most people will not like and I can agree everything is so long and its not really serious the villains are not really what you call villain and her parents leaving her makes no sense to me but I still liked it the art the music ivy and sora the Characters the journey I love ...

I feel a bit of a heretic to say it, but in contrast to the most common complaint I've see against this series, I don't agree that it starts well and ends poorly. On the contrary, the issue is almost the opposite.

In its first few episodes this show is slow, dull, boring. For three episodes, nothing happens. Had I not been binging and unwilling to start something new, I would have dropped it at episode 3. This is a good example of 'the veneer of quality'. So many have lauded this show's mature themes examining the psychological trauma of an outcast child, but the reality ...
