Undead Girl Murder Farce

Undead Murder Farce has a very unique take on Victorian Era mystery. The premise is interesting enough to keep you hooked; never wanting to drop the show.

Character Design: 8/10
The characters themselves are all fleshed out with their own set of quirks. There's not a single main/side character who just looks "generic". The only reason I don't give a 10/10 is because some characters don't really fit the overall Victorian Era vibe the show is trying to give off.

Mystery Aspect: 9/10
There aren't any popular tropes used in the storytelling. The writing of the mysteries feels very authentic. All of the detectives' deductions are reasonable, to ... the point that even I was able to deduce some of the clues myself. I think that's a good thing, though, because watching a show where you can't play detective along with the characters isn't nearly as fun.

Animation: 7/10
The animation quality is a little above average. Not much noticeable CGI, even on the horses. The fight scenes were lacking a little bit, which is important because there's fights every episode.

Plot: 6/10
The plot exists, but doesn't at the same time. A lot of mysteries solved have nothing to do with the main antagonist; they just solved them "on the way". I won't say anything in particular about the antagonists though, since it's part of the mystery in the "plot".

Notes:
The show is actually pretty funny, Tsugaru especially so. Even though I explained my reasoning poorly, I do recommend watching this if it's either been backlogged forever, or you're waiting for a new show/episode to release.

Definitely my vibe (I love Kuroshitsuji, Vanitas no Karte, and Moriarty the patriot - all set in victorian era, all about solving mysteries, all with an exceptionally strong and intelligent protagonist, almost all having Sherlock Holmes and Jack the Ripper), but I feel like everything was just too chaotic. We've got few short arcs, a LOT of characters, glimpses of individual storylines, but I feel like nothing was fully developed, except the last one about werewolves.
In conclusion, it was quite an unsatisfying watch, mainly due to the lack of coherence and superficiality of the presented story
But the vibe was good, I ... guess...

It started with an intriguing premise and captivating first episode. The initial plot setup was full of potential, leaving you eager to see where it would lead. However, as the series progressed, disappointment set in. It became meandering and lost its direction.
The character designs were interesting, but with average animation and composition, it wasn’t anything special.
The animation quality also suffered, with inconsistent pacing, and lackluster fight scenes. It's regrettable that a show with such a strong start ultimately failed to deliver on its early potential.
... I would not recommend it to others due to its disappointing execution and overall lackluster animation.
The OP song was cool tho.
