Since nobody recommended this, I guess I have to be the one 😂.

Because I know there are retro maniacs like me 🤓📼 who watch anything... boring 😴, average 😐, or interesting 😄. Every anime is special ✨ and terrible 😭 in its own way, and people have every right to judge what they watch.

Some will say they wasted their time watching this 👀⏳.
Some might say it’s “okay.”
As for me? It’s average, and whether it wasted my time or not, I already watched it.
What’s done is done 🤷‍♂️.

So this recommendation is ONLY for retro maniacs 🧓📼.
Any other kind of anime viewer might not enjoy this at ... all ❌.



📖 Story, or… the Attempt at One 😭

It’s like the story had no point.
There is really nothing to say except:
👉 there is no story.
No build-up, no meaning, no real direction. A storyline that brings nothing naturally becomes… nothing 🙄.

Objectively, the only good thing here is the animation 🎨, and aside from that, there is absolutely nothing else holding this anime up.

This OVA is 28 minutes and 53 seconds long, and yet by the end, you will find yourself asking:

“What was the point of any of this? 🤔”

Not because the story doesn’t exist, but because it exists in the most confusing, pointless form possible 😵.

🔸 Retro fans who actually care what they watch -×- this is NOT for you 😉.

If this ever shows up in your recommendations, avoid it 💨, not because it’s horrifyingly bad, but because you don’t want this OVA to ruin your respect for older anime that are way better 💯.


⭐ Overall

A visually okay OVA with no real story, no real purpose, and nothing memorable — except the confusion it leaves behind 🤣.

Recommended ONLY for retro collectors who watch everything, including the questionable stuff 😌.

I feel like I just wasted my time on this. It is like the story really had no point. There is really nothing to say about it except, boring and pointless and since there was no review I figured I'd at least do that. If you have time to waste give it a go but I'd recommend finding something worthwhile.

I like old OVAs from the 80s and 90s so I have a high tolerance for crap (I even enjoy it a lot of the time) but this was pretty bad. Just for fans of the manga, I guess, but there's probably not too many of those anyway. The plot was stupid (derp let's find the LEGENDARY BLUE FISH) and didn't go anywhere. The climax was pretty laughable and ended abruptly. Very bad and not even entertaining aside from an unintentionally funny rotating naked couple at the end. Sigh.

I gave it a 3 because the animation and art are passable and I guess someone put ... some time into this so I feel bad giving it a 1. That doesn't mean it's enjoyable, though.
