Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san

Mild-mannered Koushi Shirota is left utterly stunned when he witnesses the perfect student council president, Takane Takamine, ever so brazenly strip her panties off in front of the entire class after receiving an uncharacteristic test score of 98%. Even stranger, the imperfect score suddenly becomes a perfect 100% right before his eyes. Wanting to make sure what happened was not just a hallucination, he confronts her about it.

Seemingly unbothered, Takamine reveals to him that she has an ability called Eternal Virgin Road, which allows her to undo any mistake she makes by taking off a piece of underwear, thus keeping up her prodigious facade. With Shirota being the only one aware of the truth, Takamine coerces him into becoming her closet—a carrier of spare panties—so that she can use Eternal Virgin Road as many times as she wants. With his already weak will being constantly put to the test, Shirota's life is flipped upside down as he finds himself too close for comfort with the unpredictable student council president.

This is my first review here, I didn't feel like reviewing anything and simply keeping track of anime until now but this was so fucking good that I had to write one.

Takamine-san is a trip, an absolute trip and it fills my heart with joy, so much joy, each episode made me so damn happy I can't even describe it.
Now the fanservice is great, it's absolutely no slouch there and I'm not gonna treat it like something to be explained or excused here, you come for booby, you got plenty of it.

But what I didn't expect was the romance...oh my god, the romance! While their ... relationship starts off like blackmail femdom, it evolves into something much more sincere, or rather, it always was as revealed later, but oblivious to Shirota, Takamine clearly loves him very much but he's too clueless and unassuming to ever accept that fact. I don't wanna give you too many details but my god, they're written so damn human, the way they act, the way they just can't say or accept something, the way they react to the shit they do, how Takamine abuses her powers to put them into more and more absurd situations and risks.

I did not expect this to be so good, it was supposed to be a simple fanservice haha you're so silly put panties on me show but someone overdid the fuck out of their assignment.

The thing is, they remind me a lot of myself and a girl I know, she really isn't that far off from Takamine and I definitely had my clueless moments but I'd like to think I'm not as dense as Shirota lol. It's thanks to my experience with her that I can read Takamine's character so easily. It hits close to home and it makes me warm and fuzzy inside. And the fanservice is awooga, duh. Bath scene was peak.

Thank you, Takamine-san, you are among the media that truly touched me.

Mixed Feelings

Well...This is an anime allright.Please put them on,Takamine-san is an ecchi show. That's the main selling point. Even if it's got a 18+ rating there's still some censoring,something that is... wierd to say the least. Now, before i get into the critcism, i have to give credit where credit is due,unlike most recent anime the gimmick in this one isn't underused nor forgotten. It stays along in the journey throughout the entire show. And the art itself is really good .

Now..... That's about it for the praise.Now comes the bad. And it's plenty.The characters. Takamine herself is quite an infuriating and annoying person. The move ... she pulled in the first episode..... The accusations are ... just no man. But even after all that, i can't fully blame her...SOMEHOW. But what i can blame is her taste in men. She picked the biggest chump on the face of planet Earth. A spineless coward and a cheap plot device.An insult to ecchi/harem protags everywhere,and a perfect example of malicious incompetence. And the reason i can't fully hate Takamine. Because after seeing this guy roam the planet i'd consider myself a deity as well.

The signs he recieved to make a move would be understood by lobotomized cave dwellers. His lack of action drags all the ecchi down ,and honest to god it wasn't that great to begin with. Because all the fanservice feels heavy-handed and unimaginative 90% of the time. The only good parts happend near the end,climaxing in the haunted house. I've seen plenty of ecchi shows deliver so much better fanservice without any 18+ nudity rating for all that bare skin.

Not to mention ... it's just not enough . Alot of the runtime is wasted on school stuff, talk about future, exams and whatever else. Not to mention they pad the runtime with that ability activation animation almost every time she uses it.The main selling point of the anime is supposed to be fanservice. Lots of it,and unapologetic. And while the art itself is quite good, the animation isn't. It's stiff and doesn't compliment any of the ecchi scenes.

You could do better. Rewatch some of the old ones,i personally recommend the best everywhere,DxD. But you could certainly watch far worse then this.

"Haite Kudasai, Takamine-san" is one of the worst things I've ever watched in my life. While watching it, I kept asking myself, "What the hell am I watching - and why?"

The storyline is terrible and poorly written. There's no logic, no sense - just a delusional fantasy of some high school boy who dreams of becoming a playboy.

The characters are incredibly annoying. Shirota is your typical low-IQ schoolboy who only thinks about girls. He's foolish, easily manipulated, and incapable of saying "No" to anything.

Takamine? She's supposed to be a beautiful and intelligent class topper - but in reality, she's worse than the usual attention-seeking trope. ... She's manipulative, egoistic, narcissistic, and has a superpower that belongs in the gutter.

Time travel by removing underwear? What the actual hell?!

And worse, she uses this ability for completely nonsensical reasons. The same ridiculous scenes are repeated over and over again - long, awkward, and just plain dumb.

That characterless girl blackmails the idiot boy into changing her underwear - yes, seriously. If a girl did this to a guy in real life, it would be called sexual harassment. There's nothing funny or comedic about it.

How does a boy even end up changing a girl's underwear during class?

And how can a guy be this mind-numbingly stupid?

As for the side characters? They don't even seem to exist. I watched two full episodes and didn't see a single face worth remembering. If you're going to say "They show up later" - I don't care. I'm not sitting through more of this mess.

I cannot bear 12 episodes of this garbage. I have no problem with mild nudity or sexual scenes in anime - if they're done properly. But this show can't even get that right.

Honestly, the manga creator seems like a low-IQ teenager who either doesn't get attention from anyone or was high while writing this.

This is not romantic comedy.

But if you're only looking for vulgar, erotic fanservice - then maybe, just maybe, you'll find something to enjoy here.

But if you're looking for a good storyline with well-developed characters, real romance, or even basic decency - then never, ever watch this show.
