Hey everybody, wanted to drop in to let you all know that Dark Horse is reprinting the original Gunsmith Cats omnibus volumes with some touch-ups as well as releasing the sequel, Burst, in omnibus form as well! If you haven't bought the series yet and have the money to spare I'd definitely recommend them since they don't get much love from most manga fans.

The first volume for the original series reprint released in March of this year with the second volume releasing in July and third volume releasing in December. The Burst volumes will begin releasing in January of next year.

The project was fully funded and completed, and as of January 19th of this year it was completed and available to backers on Vimeo.

No word yet on availability for non-backers, but you can keep up with the project's tweets by following @Anime_ProjectBB.

Really wish I had backed the project, but I had a lot going on in life and lost track of the project. The life-sized tapestries would have been especially awesome as bonuses, and if they have any extras available after the backer's orders are fulfilled I may seriously drop some money. lol

Any news about Bean Bandit Project? I'm really curious on how they will bring back May and Rally after the end of Gunsmith Cats Burst.

I've already left a comment on the forum post, but basically I'm cautiously optimistic and I hope it will do the series and fans justice.

Hearing about this was a nice little boost to my morning. ^_^

Yeah floppies as in manga that comes in american comic book format. I have a lot of them but not all of them.

I've been wanting to buy the revised omnibus versions but theyre just so expensive and the first one is hard to find new.

I have all the normal TPB's of the manga, the first run.

Yeah ive heard of weapons grade waifus but i never knew they had a store or patches. this kicks ass!

@ShootGunner - You mean the original really thin ones? If so I have run across a few of them in recent years, but I only have the Revised Omnibus version of the first series, then Burst in the regular formats.

Recently I ran across a small company called Weapons Grade Waifus that have made a couple military-style patches based on the series. Unfortunately one is already out of stock and I'm not sure if they'll make more, but you can check them out on Facebook or their site.
