Yeah, it was a great way to showcase how Linus Sebastian is strongly "fangirling" about Linus Torvalds, which I would do the same :D

yeah all thanks to gloriouseggroll.

He is part of the progress, but by far not the only one. It is a gigantic and financial collaboration between the gloriouseggroll, Valve and Codeweaver.

While yes, Proton is not a silver bullet, but it has matured pretty much. You can almost expect all single player games that are currently released to be playable on Linux on launch day.

proton is not a silver bullet but yes it has gotten better thanks to valve but some devs are still actively blocking linux and virtualization for some reason.

Wait what? Wasn't one of the big reasons why people were excited to Gimp's 3.0 the non destructive editing?

@Cnon I also assumed that they wanted to integrate the non-destructive editing. It was at least in their release notes for GIMP 3.x and a lot of Linux-tubers were exited about.

well he doesn't play games anymore so it makes sense.

He still does and one of the key factor of his channel are the Let`s Play. You can actually game on Linux with even better performance compared to Windows. It only depends on the kinds of games, but single player games work most of the times perfectly fine and even better on AMD Linux systems then on Windows AMD systems. That is one of the major success key factors for the Steam Deck and probably for the Lenovo Legion Go S (SteamOS).
