| I can handle the juvenile depictions of 16th-century Italian work culture. I can handle the fact that the only artist willing to take her on is the super hot, single one a bit older than her. I can handle the feMC being a spoiled, entitled, naive brat considering that's the target audience. But what I can't handle is the fact that she managed to not only carry the construction materials around town, but she also built her rooftop shack with no trouble at all, despite weighing 90 pounds soaking wet and never having worked a day in her life. It's not like power tools existed back then: every plank of wood would have had to have been sawed down, measured out, and nailed in with little to no tool assistance. Things she obviously shouldn't be capable of whatsoever. Just a jump from one panel to the next, and voila! A perfectly adequate living space. The carpenters of the time need to take a few lessons from her! Dropping this shit after that, which is a shame because the art is actually quite nice. |
