| Mecha is what most people want in anime and if they stopped being bias about it, they would enjoy anime more. Mecha animes usually have mature themes that people claim they crave, examples being most mecha anime are about politics and war. Most of them are anime original and as such end up telling a complete story meaning you dont need to wait for a sequel that may never appear. Depending on the mecha anime, characters may also die at the drop of the hat, and beside the main characters, have very little plot armor. The mecha for most of these series are just a backdrop, and theyre the equavilent to things like stands or other supernatual powers, so it makes no sense why people are ok with those but draw the line at giant robots . And on that note, Code geass, TTGL and eva ARE NOT the exception or the only good mecha anime. Everything you like about code geass can be found in gundam and TTGL itself is a tribute/homage to other super robot animes. Eva is slightly different , but you cant tell me the mechas dont play a big part in the show when theres a mecha fight every alternate ep. Honestly why do people even hate or have a bias against mecha anime. Its absurd. |

| In a Worldline far removed from the one piece world, lies a story that is being told. A tragic story of one who wanted to bring about a new era. Her name was Uta and this is her story, one of laughter, tragedy and warmth. This movie is a condensation of everything themeatic about one piece and its pretty sad that alot of people dont seem to get it, but praise the series as for its deep themes and maturity. IS it just because this movie is non canon? Is it just because theyre salty shanks isnt evil nor does he fit their headcanon of what he should be? Is it just because they dont like the musical aspect or Uta? Is it just because they think this is just a ripoff of naruto? Perphas its all of this, we will never know but lets get this out of the way. Yes the movie could be better paced, and it defintely could use more runtime, i wont dare to tell you otherwise, but im just saying to understand the kind of story oda wanted to tell. The basic plot of the movie is in laymans term > the strawhats and a whole bunch of other important characters just decided to drop everything theyre doing and attend the concert of this new diva idol called uta. > We find out from luffy that she's shanks daugther. > She then evantually turns on luffy for being a pirate whom she proclaims to hate > She traps all the pirates that attended her show and chased after luffy with her fans. That's it, the whole rest of the series is just a mystery box of figuring out Uta's goals, her motive, her powers and resuce everyone. In a different worldline, we cut to a kakera sprinked throughout the story which tells of uta's relationship with luffy . TBH this was my favorite part of the movie, as oda has said before this movie challenges luffy beyond just physically and its shown throughtout the film Uta isnt someone luffy wants to actually beat, nor does he directly attack her for anything, hes being challenged mentally and emotionally, hes confused that someone he used to know turned out so different. It was never about just beating the opponent in this case. Its about truly understanding why someone would turn to the dark side. Sometimes the answer is never just about beating the opponent to be done with it. OF course, in the end this is a box office action movie for a battle manga so ofc it ends in a big thrown down fight against a giant thing with alot of sakuga which im cool with but can see why others find it a controversial film. On another facet of the kaleidoscope, the mystery element i would agree is handled pretty badly, which is one of the few elements i would say is handled badly and would agree on. So much buildup for all this mystery elements, only for most of it to be plot expo dumped on us in the last 3rd of the film. And utas motive which were initially great, ended up being filmsy after a certain reveal. The musical elements to be honest tied in super well with the plot and premise, its the ideal mix. I dont see why people are upset with it tbh, it makes the film unique and gives it color. It ties in very well with the theme of the movie, music uniting people. The themes, which is imo the best and my favorite parts of the film. There are quite a few but i would say theres 3 main ones. - Music unites people, as i mentioned eariler. The symbolism is best shown when everyone unites to defeat the big bad, who is named after a musical entity, they unite everyone with a singular goal and even before that, utas entires goal is to unite the world with her music, if you replace the theme of music with freedom and you literally get your main theme of one piece right there. - Life may be hard but that doesnt mean escapism is good. The NPCs characters were initially happy at being able to escape and even desire for escape from the cruel world and reality but once they got it, they started to realise it wasnt good and wanted out. This ties into the next main theme very well. -Expecations of a messiah, the show keeps emphasising that uta is the savior that will bring the world peace and save the suffering people which evantually leads to her mental breakdown and her deranged plan. Both ties into the idea of toxic otaku mindset. Both idol worship and escapism are prominent in reality these days, and no wonder the world is a shit place. But that doesnt make it ok for you to escape into a false reality nor is it ok to look for a false savior , whether it be an imganiary one or a real one. And yet all of this ties into the deeper one piece lore too, luffy DOES end up being the messiah of sort, and he will evantually be one for spoilers reasons, if you know you know. The climax scene power up is reflected on that, he will evantually bring freedom to the world, but he wont force it on anyone like uta does and that in lies the key difference. Heck even in the movie, luffy only got fully serious once he saw uta truely suffering and she wanted to be saved as well as once he fully got her story straight. Heck the idol worship theme is also a good mirror for luffys worship of shanks, he worships him but he knows that shanks isnt an end all god, hes just someone luffy wants to surpass, and hes able to see shanks for who he really is, hence why he knew uta was wrong about shanks from the beginnging. All in all its a good film, haters capping. Maybe in a different Heaven, this film will be better apperciated |

| Honestly Naruto ruined our entire pre concived notion about shounen for the worse tbh. Shounen never is and never really will be about the whole underdog theme, yes there is hard work as its core theme and yes there is themes of overcoming the bigger person/stronger man BUT its never really about the underdog. If you go back to old shounen, most of them had OP mcs to begin with, from dragon ball to fist of the north star, even sports anime like captain tsubasa basically has them adknowledge tsubasa as football jesus. The few exceptions you would bring up would be saint seiya which in the end goes the same route as naruto years later of revealing that seiya was always the chosen one. Jojo also shows that while you can be overpowered, youll still face stakes in fights because thats how tensions in battle shounens work. Look at more modern shounens, one piece and black clover the 2 biggest ones that seem to play the underdog straight mostly. Luffy strated off as overpowered in the same sense of goku before being subverted to lose to people like croc and lucci, but even then hes only losing in the narrative sense to overcome the battle for drama and for tension. Objectively speaking luffy is still a 17 year old dude that hasnt hit his peak and can still wipe the floor with them evantually after he grows. People confuse this theme of overcoming adversity against someone more powerful than you as an underdog theme when it isnt. Black clover, again seem like asta plays the underdog straight, but even then its adknowledged how hard he works which goes beyond normal levels, how yuno who works just as hard is still consistently better than him and would be argued as the real hero and how in the final arc its revealed hes the non chosen one destined to stop the final villain. Naruto just made everyone think shounens is all about the underdogs and shit and then rag on naruto for seemingl shitting up its theme when it never did or make them expect bc/bnha to do the same when again its never about that |

| how i think future of ampherous plot will go has story leaks AND 3.4 story spoiler ofc so >!The initial premise will probably be phainon who is now obviously replaced by us the TB because phainon is now merged with le irontomb and cyrene who is finally around again starts the final flamechase we know its the final because irontomb is at 98.1%, meaning whats gonna happen is once this is over he'll become complete and DAS the game over for star rail verse.!< >!This final flamechase, with our sparse knowledge and cryenes own original timeline one, we start the journey with cerydra and hysliens who were dripped to be the star of 3.5, we'll probably see the star of the flamechase journey, but this time with more things wrong due to irontomb being completed, at the same time, Lygus boss is in 3.5 so im guessing dan heng who returned, met up with THerta and screwy, who bring in the calvary and tries to bring in the entire remaining AE gang, both to rescue TB and march plus yea obviously irontomb revival is deep shit, and they fight Lygus on the outside who gets defeated because no matter how powerful he is, its like a 7 v 1, no homeground advantage gonna do shit At the same time, we'll be doing our journey and 2 things will go wrong. Something happens with the original Terravox and has to be transplanted inside Dan Heng, and cyrene who is supposed to be the time heir gets the flame taken or its given to march instead.!< >!March was probably bought to Ampherous but somehow during her entry, she's bought to the cycle before the eternal reccurance, when Current Oronyx was a CH. Phainon and cyrene idk how their messages would work but i assume it may be gallagher/misha styled and they get a rem to send.!< >!Lygus who got yeeted in 3.5 will be the cliffhanger ending of 3.7 where he in his final backup body tries to run away from ampherous withous us knowing, holding the scepter original with leftover data of irontomb but Polka who will only be revealed as a voice will appear and stabs him and we'll only know its polka cause of the scapel.!< Post Ampherous theory crafting >!I'm guessing with the lord ravager special, and with the edo star leaks as well as setup plot points i bought up before, this is what'll happen Asat is probably responsible for Edo Star's weird issue with their ravager, and sparkles AND sampo SP would imply along with the heavy elation path leaks that edo star is an elation themed arc and of course no better fitting villain than the anti elation. We probably wont kill him, since i think irontomb will be the only killed one before the final confrontation but we'll ruined his plans and he has to leave, we can probably deal with him cause sampo SP is obvs an emanator, yae, sparkles, void archives? and blade SP who was sent by eilo to guide us should be enough firepower.!< Celnova, is connected to the eternal centorion who sunday specfically wants to confront , so das already set in stone. For firepower related to this, i actually cant think off but we'll probably get closer to her fight phanty obviously XZ fleet assembling, nuff said Ironforge will probably be in pier point arc with the IPC and diamond/stonehearts arc. >!Zephyro, we will probably see a glimpse off coming to ampherous, but archeron holds him or talks him out of it shanks/kaido style since the leak of archeron being considered part of ampherous story somehow and dude will play a part in the nihilty arc 100%, how he goes down, well im guessing despite all his gassing, he's probably an honorable warrior like capitano, but just no nonsense and quick to kill.!< Luxbane, i genuinely have no idea, since both permanance and voracity are already tied to existing arcs, XZ propagation revival/phanty arc and the IPC arc respectively. !< |
