| Emotional episode, Momo and Momiji's relationship should be explored more |

| Hearing the violin version of "Birth of Wishes" at the end hit this whole episode home. I can't hear that song without tearing up anymore. It just captures the entire essence of Fruits Basket so wonderfully. Both the heartbreak as well as the healing that can come beyond it. |

| Another great episode that was mainly focusing on Momiji and Kureno. God that scene that Tohru had with Momiji alone was quite sad knowing for a fact that his family can’t accept him as their child is just heartbreaking to me, especially Momo who just wants him to be her brother. Such a caring and loving soul does not need this in his life I swear. He just gets shunned and just kept in his room but the fact that he can just carry on being his happy self just says to me that he’s at least resilient and strength to him as a whole. I really thought that Tohru got spotted by Akito because I heard a female voice and as a result the person speaking to Kureno is obscured so I can’t see who it is. I really was like: “Oh shit, Tohru no!” Just dreading the worst to happen but thankfully there were no consequences and at the very least Tohru gave Kureno the note from Arisa. And I really don’t think she’s being selfish, your not, honestly your not. And hoo boy that moment with Tohru and Kyo at the end of the episode with them on the roof was pretty lovely to watch. As always I look forward to the next episode. |
