This anime was strong but fell of around the end

I like carol and tuesday alot i gave it an 8/10 so please understand this is not me shitting on the show because i found it to be quite good. However the second part of the series begins to lose the original direction of the show and becomes more of a political commentary. While I see what they were going for it felt half baked and lead to some aspects of the show that were its highlights to be less of the central point of the narritive. I also think the commentary on politics felt very surface level instead of being an in depth analysis that political commentary should have. I think the show lost its strong points when it decided to change the focus on the show instead of watching angelna and carol and tuesday's rise to stardom. in my opinion.

Yeah I found the rise to stardom a lot more interesting than the second half. Though I will say Mother was an amazing song/performance.

The entire 2nd half in general felt like it had an identity crisis. It didn't know if it wanted to be a political thriller or a music anime and it tried to find a weird middle ground that just didn't work. The political side had good ideas, but felt somewhat forced into the narrative.
