I've seen it before but it was one of my first Ghibli movies and I don't remember it at all so I want to make it special

Yes it sounds cheesy

It would take less time to watch it than making this pointless thread and wait for answers

It’s a cute, feel-good, cozy Ghibli film. It doesn’t have Christmas themes but the coziness of it I think would fit in well with the holiday for sure.

I’m not a huge fan of this movie, but it’s good. Not sure I’d call this one a Christmas movie as it has nothing to do with Christmas, or takes place in winter. Still, too each their own.

it has nothing to do with Christmas but it's a movie the whole family can enjoy.

I have watched this studio ghibli movie. I love this movie because of nice animation. The storyline is the best.

In terms of a family friendly movie, you can’t really go wrong with this Gibley film it’s not one of the best, but it’s certainly not the worst film

It has good family togetherness in it but no snow or holiday cheer.

This movie has nothing related to Christmas whatsoever ???? Not even the scenery or time frame has correlation to the holiday

@sailaway30 yeah it's a mid-tier movie. it's awesome to watch with family members. I also watched this anime with my sibling.

I would save this for the spring or summer, the show gives warm vibes.

Tokyo Godfathers seems to be a nice pick for me but there are better Ghibli movies even for kids to watch on Christmas, I would choose Totoro or Marnie or Only Yesterday just to mention a few ^^

I mean, I guess if you watch it around Christmas it might remind you of it. Other than that it doesn't have anything to do with Christmas nor does it have any kind of Christmas feeling to it. Takes place in the summer from what it looks like, or at the very least spring.
