| I always loved 17 (& 18's) introduction here. Their rebellious nature, their dialogue with Gero was pretty entertaining (and he really should've made himself an infinite energy model), and yeah, Gero was kinda begging for it loudly telling them he'll make another remote to deactivate them. But I still love how 17 kills him, it's really bad-ass, and I love their designs and attitude. It's nice to have villains that don't seem necessarily antagonistic, or at least, aren't paying any mind to Goku's friends who they were ordered to kill, instead caring more about 16. I also enjoyed Vegeta's commentary throughout, from him totally understanding them killing Gero and claiming humans have the strangest inhibitions, to his knowledge that Trunks attack was pointless. |

| this is where toriyama really plays well with the story, those last few chapters were much more of the characters and plot than plot, surprise us with the characters behaviours and plot tiwsts, and toriyama does it well. |
| Great introduction for the cyborgs. C16 keeps it from simply feeling just like a restart of the arc. |
