One that really no one knows about 08th MS Team. That was a good series and the voices weren't to bad either.

Which Anime exactly is "best" dubbed is totally subjective, but if you want my honest opinion, I'd say ANY of the Disney-Ghibli dubs. Say what you will about some of their casting choices, but these are still some of the best in business. Even a dub that is less smooth than others in these films is still very watchable (unless you're one of those die-hard Ghibli elitists who hate all their dubs). FMA, Nadia (ADV), His and Hers, Lodoss OVA, Slayers (all three seasons), World of Narue, Now and Then Here and There, and other titles are all good, solid dubs.

Basically anything by Viz. Bleach and the Bleach cast're far superior to almost every single Japanese counterpart. Most FUNimation stuff usually sucks, imo, although, FMA's a lot better in English. Buso Renkin, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, DBZ, Durarara, Tenjou Tenge, and Fate/Stay Night are all awesome in dubs, and I actually really enjoyed Maburaho in English. Stuff like Soul Eater, Fairy Tail, and Seto no Hanayome just got destroyed by FUNimation, and I only watch those in Japanese. Unless I just really don't like the English voice actors, I usually resort to dubs, since, you know, it's my primary language.

One Piece and Fairy Tail. FUNimation have really stepped up their game in recent years. If you watch their original dub of Dragon Ball Z, particularly when they're on Namek from the Captain Ginyu Saga onwards, you can really see how drastically they've improved.

I'm curious, why do you think FUNimation destroyed Fairy Tail? What's wrong with how they dub it? I can really feel the emotion in their voices. And I've never once thought that a character had a voice that doesn't suit them. |
