Is it too late to save the city? An with riots going on, the situation looked kinda hopeless.

Shin looks like he really needs some rest, both physically and mentally. I like the psychology of this episode though as it captures the mood of the episode. Not the usual type of heavy battle oriented episode but still suits Kingdom really well.

Finally something great. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of this season because I never liked fightings in this anime and while this whole war is important I just couldn't find anything memorable aside from a few episodes.

This ep on the contrary showed exactly why I loved earlier seasons and now I can't wait for more.

This really is a reckless plan but it's a desperate situation. I'm looking forward to Zheng's motivational speech next episode.

The King himself had to move out to the last city before the capital to hold off the invasion army.

Next episode will be amazing with his speech to rally up the citizens.

This episode was very good, it crazy how the situation seems so desperate but Sei stay strong and convinced to take any chance possible. As a manga reader it's been a while seems my reading so I don't remember things in details, but one thing for sure, I can't wait to see his speech, it's gunna be epic !!

Zheng is going out on the front lines, and with Lord Biao gone the situation calls for civilians to fight desperately... Can't wait to see how Zheng manages to rally the civilians behind him

Also, did Changpinjun just defy Lu Buwei? This could be a turning point in defeating Lu Buwei's faction... Changpinjun has his pride as the supreme commander of the Qin army and his pride won't allow him to just lay down and surrender to Li Mu, so it makes sense that he wouldn't be too happy about Lu Buwei's plans to offer Zheng's head to Li Mu

This season has been insanely good so far, I really hope we get a season 4 announcement once it ends

Exceptional episode again, this upcoming part is my favorite part of this arc and judging by what came before i have little to no worry that it'll be nothing short of exceptional. Heck i haven't read the manga in a while cause the anime is just so good right now.

Nah nah nah the anime really did cliffhanger the hell out of me with Sei's speech. I'm impatient now to hear and see that in a few days lol, the curse of watching anime weekly really is hitting me here. But regardless, this was such a great episode and the start of the next episode should be even better. Love the more political focus on the whole situation as it showcases Sei and Qin's last-ditch efforts to save their state from crashing and burning to Riboku and the Coalition army. Can't wait to see the King glow with leadership in the next episode. Also, nice seeing Seikyou back, even if he was an ass in the first season and he's only shown up due to these desperate circumstances and to make sure that Ryofui doesn't try anything funny while he's gone.

the crucial part: the King's speech. To motivate everyone, to set one above and to make things go forward as the war rages on.

I've read and studied Queen Elizabeth I's Golden Speech and Mary I of England's speech at Guildhall. Despite being queens (since females in medieval/Tudor England were not seen as leaders), their speech were remarkable! I especially admired Elizabeth's Golden speech which was said at the time when the Armada came to English shores (1588). Talking about how she is woman but not a weak one, a queen who is equal to a king and may anyone try to invade England will fear her wrath. She wouldn't let any bother the borders of England.

Now, it's Ei Sei's turn. I dunno if the author will use a speech Sei (Ying Zheng) historically said or what but as a history student, I am intrigued.
I don't expect it to be similar to Elizabeth I but this is war that involves invasion, the speech gotta be sweet and strong!

Yeah, it was expected that Ryo Fui would plan something like that in a massive war. He could bargain his way out of it so, surrendering and giving up the Royal Capital is nothing for him. With this in mind, Sei is going to the frontline and will fight together with civilians. Not sure how he's going to get their spirits up, even less, how the fuck are they gonna fight with tactics? But, this was an incredible episode for sure. The political part of the serie never misses and it shines amazingly. Sei's little brother coming out of nowhere with his hairline made me smile, he's not that bad. Shou Hei Kun aiding the King might finally be a key part in defeating Ryo's faction.

I have no doubt Zheng can give the civilians a massive boost in morale. But the thing is, they're mostly elders, women, and kids. How tf are they gonna survive this? Unless their soldiers from Hangu Pass comes to their rescue in a very timely manner. Also, no way Li Mu would accept Bu Luwei's peace offering lol didn't he almost kill him before?

I almost forgot about Zheng's little bro. He's the lesser of two evils, that's for sure.
I wonder what Zheng has in store for Li Mu. Old men, women, & children as defenders. Good luck with that.

Great development.
Zheng is one of main characters. Just making him sit on throne and not giving any spotlight was such a waste.
Now I'm gonna enjoy him to fullest.
