 A second anime season for SIU's Tower of God manhwa was announced at the Crunchyroll Expo convention on Saturday. The event also revealed a promotional video and key visual (pictured).SIU launched the adventure fantasy manhwa in Naver Webtoon (now Line Webtoon) webcomic portal in July 2010. Naver began releasing the chapters in English in June 2014 and in Japanese in 2018. The publisher shipped the ninth volume on March 29. Tower of God has been translated into 28 languages and garnered over 6.2 billion views worldwide. The first season produced by Telecom Animation Film aired under the title Kami no Tou in 13 episodes in Spring 2020. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles. VIZ Media licensed the anime series in North America and released it on home video on January 18. Synopsis There is a tower that summons chosen people called "Regulars" with the promise of granting their deepest desires. Whether it be wealth, fame, authority, or something that surpasses them all—everything awaits those who reach the top. Twenty-Fifth Bam is a boy who had only known a dark cave, a dirty cloth, and an unreachable light his entire life. So when a girl named Rachel came to him through the light, his entire world changed. Becoming close friends with Rachel, he learned various things about the outside world from her. But when Rachel says she must leave him to climb the Tower, his world shatters around him. Vowing to follow after her no matter what it takes, he sets his sight on the tower, and a miracle occurs. Thus begins the journey of Bam, a young boy who was not chosen by the Tower but opened its gates by himself. They call his kind "Irregulars"—beings that have shaken the very foundation of the Tower each time they set foot inside it. | I have no idea how this season would be paced out (and labelled) since there is so much content here in what is the Second Part of this series (hell, it'll take a long time for the series to even get to the Hell Train portion). The KV looks great, hopefully the adaptation quality will be better (although I won't hold much hope for that). I'm not blinded by ToG hype like I was a few years back but I hope that Crunchyroll can actually recover some ground with Webtoon anime and try their best to do this series justice, even after the rocky start they had with adapting this series. I can only hope though. |

| It has to be 25 episodes at least, or two parts. This arc is huge and I really hope they don´t rush as much as they did during the first season, because there is a bunch of good moments during the assembly of the new team. |

| Out of the 3 manwha that aired that year, this was the one that I wanted to see a second season of the most, mainly due to the fact that it was only the prologue and because they didn't butcher the adaptation as bad as they did the other two So I am thrilled to see that we're getting another season of what people say is peak webtoons |
