Yo, heck yeah!!! 🔥 You guys are about to experience some crazy moments!
Today, I experienced all of this at the movie theater.

The Ice Elves and those bears totally got their......(dash) handed to them by the one and only Sung Junwoo🔥🤩.
That A Rank member had it coming for betraying our gigachad.
S Rank vs. S Rank battle? Man, that would've been insane to watch!
Score 9/10.
Finished it on 4th December 2024 at 21:00 Hrs IST.

The recap was a nice refresher containing a montage of key moments and fights. I went into the cinema looking forwards to the first two episodes, and they delivered. The red gate and Baruka fight were smoothly adaptated with the animation being clean and satisfying. I personally enjoyed the pacing and have high hopes for the second season.

I had a great time with this too. I was honestly surprised by how much they managed to show. Of course they mainly kept it to the highlights (the main few fights) but it was overall a decent recap given the limited runtime in order to fit in the new content. Of the new part, I loved seeing Jinwoo take full advantage of his new necromancer ability against the ice elves. Also the glitch moment was extremely interesting paired with his ability to understand monster speak. Definitely hinting at the higher power behind everything. Hopefully they don't tease us for too long in the season with the evil brother as they have already been setting him up for quite a while.

Totally and utterly enjoyed it on the big screen, great compilation with amazing pacing (I wish the whole series was like this, no, I’m joking, world building details were skipped so no, we need them in the series)
Mind-blowing adaptation of the red gate mini ark, and welcome the shadow comic omake 😊☺️☺️

the writer missed an opportunity with the ice elves. they came off as blandly villainous but could have been so much more, adding to the stories world building. well, at least the fight sequences are well done.
enjoy!

Just came back from seeing this and I wasn't disappointed. TBH this is the first time I have gone to a theatre in almost 10 years and man do they punish you with a lot of commercials and stuff but I wanted to watch an anime movie on the big screen and get that sneak peek at S2.

The re-cap was pretty good overall as it has been long enough since I watch S1 that it wasn't boring and the pacing was much faster which was nice because I found the first bunch of episodes of S1 to be pretty boring. the Season 2 content with the ice elves was pretty sweet. Only thing that would have made it better would have been a sexy female ice elf... oh well :D

Nice movie, I was quite hyped but half of the whole thing was just like a summary of season one. But overall had some turns that got me hooked. Would recommend

First half was a recap of first season, as expected. It was nice to see the fight with Igris again.

Second season first two episodes were funny for me. It was cool and OP, like dude, who are you messing with. Now this excites me for a good opening for season 2.

Woo Jin Chul stopped those two S Rank Hunters. Baek Yoon Ho is impressed by Jin Woo. Damn, Song Yi seems to have developed something for him, and I doubt he’d lean towards her in that way anytime soon.

Damn, the content to come is going to slap! My man even got the Korean buzz cut for real, xD. How did he have the time for that? Jokes aside, the action in the red gate is something else! And his confidence too, we're going to be having a feast come next month...

First half's transition from different events was abrupt as heck, lmao. They didn't even try to fill in the gaps which honestly I guess it didn't really need to but would've made it feel more coherent for sure.

Good thing younger Hwang appears to have gone back to the US. Got to build up some trust in the White (something, I forgot lol) guild, maybe.

I'd like to highlight the difference between manhwa and anime:
Manhwa is primarily characterized by its harsh tone, rapid narrative, and lack of deep exploration of the personal changes that occur in the main character and other characters. Anime, on the other hand, encompasses all of this. Each has its own distinct characteristics. Anime makes you feel close to the main character, able to understand and empathize with them, allowing the viewer to project themselves onto the character and see themselves in their shoes. Manhwa, on the other hand, is characterized by its distance and the moral barrier between the reader and the character. However, because the story deals with a wonderful character with immense charisma and strength, its distance gives the reader a sense of great admiration and respect, as they accomplish so much at a rapid pace and in an inexplicable manner. This fills us with awe...
