Does she have another personality or something since people seem to know her in the club and her friend mentioned that as well in the previous episode?

What is even going on at this point. Not that I knew what was going on in episode 1, but we are at episode 3 and I'm still completely lost.

This episode confirmed that Wired is indeed a kind of online world, where people assume a persona and do stuff. It's unclear if Cyberia is located in the Wired or not, but I'm certain some scenes of the anime so far have taken place there.

This episode there was another entity at Lain's doorstep, and this time it was a car with 2 red lights, similar to the red lights from the gun of last episode. By the end of the episode we can see that the car was from those guys in the black suit (they had those things in their head with the red lights, which means they were especially targeting Lain), which we can imagine to be the "Knights" mentioned in the episode, the ones that are distributing the "Psyche", the chip that Lain received.

The anime is still confusing regarding what Lain really knows, because sometimes it's like Lain knows exactly what's happening, and then asks some random kids how to connect the Psyche to the Wired. But at this point, I even question if she's a real person, or just some kind of AI. I mean, she couldn't even say Arisu, her friend's name. And what happened to her family the night the shooting happened?

Her dad also seems to be unable to maintain a talk with Lain that isn't about the Wired, since he completely lost interest in talking to Lain when she asked what the Psyche was. And her mother is also really strange, there's some random dudes at her doorstep, and she's just like "just another day I guess", just like in episode 1. Lain's older sister seems to be the only sane person in that household.

Anyways, the end of the episode was really curious, because it really indicated that not only was Lain acting different than usual (and without her usual clothes), but also that we or the sister were only talking to a computer screen, which further shows that Lain might really be just an AI, or is not trapped in the Wired.

The anime still is really confusing overall, and I can't really understand what's going on. I guess I'll need to keep on watching.

Edit: Forgot to mention, but there was a scene where we heard some girl being blackmailed by a "kid with a red skirt and t-shirt with green striped", I don't know about the t-shirt, since she wears a coat, but Lain is using a red skirt. So Lain really must be blackmailing people in the Wired with personal information getting leaked. Lain isn't the person we are being shown, that's for sure. I think the "wild" Lain is connected to Lain, in some way or another.

Yet another great episode! This one was the most straightforward in terms of plot, IMO.

I think the fact that Lain's parents are unable to pick her up from the police station after the shooting, and they're not even home when she does arrive in the dead of night is extremely strange. If we combine that with their behavior so far, what it signifies to me is that they're plants of some sort, agents put there to watch over Lain, more so than her real parents as we would think of it. I also point to the fact that their empty bedroom has two beds instead of one, and when Lain saw them kiss in episode two, the dad had his eyes open; that kiss also happened in a stereotypical way, as a greeting when he got home from work, so it seems to me that they could've just been putting on a performance.

Mika, on the other hand, is just a normal school girl, in my opinion. So far, she has displayed very normal behaviors, being the least weird of the family. The episode's ending doesn't bode well for her, though.

Lain's jump into the Wired begins here. That last frame of her as a pixelated vision in her sister's yes is haunting.

Schizophrenia and drippiness everywhere
Her dad knows damn well what it is.
I’m so confused, did we ever meet the guy at the club before? Or does she have a split personality or something
Isn’t it weird that they just let kids in the Cyberia club? Also it might be the portal to the Wired or something. I mean it’s kinda in the name… “Cyberia”
And what’s with that creepy car
