| Why tf was the original thread removed entirely bruh. Anyway I wish Capella transformed into Priscilla would give some more fanservice, appreciate what we got though. Al remains mysterious and his mannerism is somewhat similar to Subaru. I'm quite interested to know who he is. Garf vs Kurgan was sick, that animation and roar was fire. Mimi would be proud Garf. |

| These are the kinds of fights that shine way better in the anime as opposed to fights like that of Regulus which are experienced better in the LN. Also, observant viewers may notice that Garfiel did indeed have a power-up before his inside-the-shelter duel with Kurgan mainly due to overcoming his trauma from his first kill(he's still a minor). Honestly, one of my favourite kinds of power-ups. |

Some LN Extra Details (Volume 19, Prologue 0.1-0.2, Chapter 1.1, 2.1, 3.1-3.2 )
- It was Subaru that taught Garfiel the sixth sense term, which exists other than his five normal senses
- Kurgan had multiple opportunity to finish off Garfiel beforehand, but he did not take it, and Garfiel feels humiliated because of it.
- Garfiel used his untransformation to escape from Kurgan's grasp when he was holding him in his tiger form.
- Garfiel sometimes sneaks some healing magic on him as a first aid kit for his injury during his duel.
- Garfield was blown into the top of the government building tower by Kurgan and found the mirror Metia. He tried to used it to communite with others, but his legs are pulled back down by Kurgan and breaks the loose floor and breaks down lower to the sewers.
- Al references Lust as a `T-1000 wannabe` from the Terminator series when he's talking about her being shape-shifting is scary.
Differences from LN
- Gaston shows more bravery even though he is scared at that moment
- The Otto fight scene was focused first in the LN. Maybe they are focusing on Garfield first to keep the hype going.
- Kurgan's details is presented as conversation in the anime, but it is just plain exposition in the LN.
- There are no demi beast when Garfiel found his half-siblings, Kurgan is straight attacking Garfiel once he found him.
- Garfield final attack is using his fang and ripping out half of Kurgan's neck after his hand's bone is shattered by his attack. it might not be noticeable at a first glance in the anime since it seems smaller and the background blends well with Kurgan's color.

| Every fights have been interesting, but this was obviously the best fight so far. Also, the moment Garfiel acknowledged the two kids as his little brother as sister was so wholesome 🥹 |

| Garfiel's fight was not as well done as the Regulus fight, the last scenes of his fight were so blurry and unrecognizable, I have no idea how he actually won. Lust against helmet was better in that regard, the also have some very... unique personalities ^^ |

| The respective battles continue, as Otto takes care of Lye with the water lizards, though that's clearly not enough to take care the Sin Archbishop of Gluttony. On the other end, Al taking care of Capella, and even joking about trying to make love to her, until the point that she evolves and tries to mimic Priscilla, though that will not fool the armour head enough to try slicing her into pieces, only for her to regenerate once again. Garfiel fight against Eight-Arms Kurgan, of which his race was once the depiction of malignment, his goes all the worse than the typcal many-armed race of having just 4 or 5 arms. And this fight, which the Gorgeous Tiger struggles greatly, and thereby managing to defeat a demon giving off Elsa illusions at the shelter where his half-siblings and countless citizens reside, the shelter becomes a match to cheer on Garfiel to defeat Kurgan's Devil Cleavers, and White Fox truly delivered in giving Garfiel the biggest fight he deserved with stellar animation, enough to earn The Warrior's Commendation. Now, it's Wilhelm's time to shine, against the evil manipulation of his dead wife Theresia. |

| The Garfiel fight was a cool attempt at playing with camera lenses and choreography but the pacing was way TOO fast. Quite a few people agreed that they didn't know wtf was going on and how he even won the fight at all. This is a problem I've had with the Solo Leveling Baran fight too, such a shame we don't get more fluidity but it was a nice surprise from this series anyway. |

| Fighting shapeshifters is always a tricky one. Al was really cool remaining undeterred in the face of Capella's tricks. Garfiel vs Kurgan was awesome. I love it when a battle is so intense the anime goes pencil sketch. |

| Al insulting Capella was amusing. Although I'm not sure how you can defeat her. The climax of Garfiel vs Kurgan was fantastic. It was some of the best action in this series for me. |

| Aldebaran’s humor is great—love the dude for that. And honestly, having Capella as a woman isn't the worst idea… I mean, with her, it’s like being with every female in existence. Still, her personality definitely needs some work for my taste. The second half focused on Garfiel’s fight with Kurgan, where it seems he finally managed to let go of the ghosts from his past. The fight animation was peak, though some scenes were a bit hard to follow with the constant camera angle changes. |

| Holy. Shit. That Garfiel fight was absolutely insane, the choreography, the animation, the soundtrack, the feeling of each impact, everything was amazing. The fact that Garf was able to get over that weird PTSD thing he had was awesome too, and seeing him accept the cheers of the people around him was phenomenal. AMAZING episode, no show does it quite like Re:Zero. |
