Holy shit! The theory of Lu Guang traveling to the past to save Cheng Xiaoshi turns out to be true. The mystery hat man also makes his first appearance. Can't wait for season 3.

@Raycurve Not a proper next season but an 8-episode side story will be released sometime during December this year. You probably would like to put this on PTW: https://myanimelist.net/anime/56752/Shiguang_Dailiren__Yingdu_Pian

@kizumi91 I have a bad feeling about mystery hat man, and even worse feeling when pink hair boy decided to completely discard his past with his sister (aka leaving the phone behind)

Also LG travelling back to save CXS??? I never even guessed, until QL mentioned seeing LG's memory having CXS bleeding out and I guessed it, but when did they ever drop hints??

Whatever... Disappointment of the Decacade thus far for me. I envy those who are happy with what they watched.

I'll not wait for the third season even if I end watching it.
Qiao Ling will probably have more screen time but I guess that most she'll do is hold photos in her hand to extract information.

(it makes me sad to realise that Link Click honors the tradition of "women in refrigerators")
@PaninaManina You might like the live-action version a bit more, QL in there is a lot more active

So in conclusion:

Lu Guang: he comes from the future to save Cheng Xiaoshi and got Cheng's powers cause he died in the future.

Qiao Ling: maybe got Tianxi (pink haired girl) powers?? (might be a possibility if Lu Guang has Cheng's powers)

Tianchen's friend: He is Liu Min brother. He might have powers as well because he talks about repairing time lines.

So my theory is that Tianchen's friend somehow wants to repair the mess caused by Lu Guang¿? as he broke messed up with timelines saving Cheng.

Wooooow that cliffhanger and all the details we don't know!!! I want S3 NOOOOOW!!!
@NHS-KEMISH WAIT I did wonder how LG could clap n transport, but it's cuz he got CXS's powers?? So do the powers just kinda transfer to the nearest person when the original holder dies?

OK YALL CALM DOWN WOAH POWERS CAN BE PASSED TO ANOTHER PERSON WHEN AN EXISTING USER DIES!!!

1. We saw this first hand with XiXi dying in Qiao Ling's arms and her powers (the light) and her memories transferring over to Qiao Ling

2. We then saw this again when at the end of the season Lu Guang uses Cheng Xiaoshi's powers to travel back to the beginning of the series

Does that imply that LG and CXS had also received their powers from another entity in the same process? Is it a hint to how they and the Tian twins got their abilities in the first place??! Could it be that black hat dude that has been spreading these powers to everyone? If it is then when did he meet CXS and LG to give them their powers?
@Esmeralda06 interesting theory with black hat dude being the 'power spreader', but I don't get a particularly good feeling from him tbh. Also curious question, LG gets CXS's powers in the timeline when he died, but does LG still have CXS's power after going back to the past?

Finally, this is the last episode!

To be honest, I really love so much "Link Click", I like both the first and the second part equally. But it's important to realize that they're just about different things, and the focus of the story has changed 360°

First season was an excellent time travel with a lot of small different local stories which as the plot progressed, slowly coalesced into one coherent story. In the final episode we got a huge cliffhanger and the answers to what comes next...

The Second season was absolutely different than the first one. The accents has shifted. We finally went from those localized small stories to a whole story with its own antagonist, characters, events and a specific goal. So this season, there's more emphasis on the conflict itself, revealing the personalities of the characters, as well as the gradual unraveling of the plot.

And in my honest opinion - S2 as excellent as the S1. It's a worthy sequel of the best title of 2021 year. And actually, this season made a huge leap over the S1 in terms of visual, animation and a scene staging. They feel incredibly vivid, and the OST complements them as well.

Bottom line, 10/10
@MineFord_gurme Yess it was the perfect sequel imo, s1 was like the chill introduction to their powers and purpose, and s2 really went deep into the actual plot itself

Then...why did the pink haired girl lose her voice?

I see it like this: Her mother told her not to speak about what she heard (that divorce stuff), and since she is a child with mental retardation, this was her way to do so.

(edit:) I was thinking about it, and it makes sense because when Xiaoshi possessed her body, he was able to speak normally (at the start he said "Ok." to her mother), which implies that there was no problem with her vocal chords; it was simply a mental issue.
@wiksbae Yeah definitely not a physical issue, I mean CXS accidentally spoke when he possessed her

NAHHHHHH THIS THE BEST ANIME TO COME OUT IN RECENT YEARS MAN😩😩😩😫😫😫🤯😱🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

LIKE UR TELLING ME CHENG WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE THIS SEASON!?!?!?!???😵‍💫

This season beats out season 1 by a mile and season 1 was PHENOMENAL, but I’m so confused as to when Guang went back in time and at what point did Cheng die? Why did those memories appear in Qiax King’s mind? Why at the end of the episode did Guang teleport at exactly 12:05????? Like there’s so many questions and so little answers😭😭😭 I guess I gotta rewatch season 1 again bc I think there’s gotta be clues in there🧠🧐

Season 3 needs to come quick ong
@Treyv0n I also wonder what point in the og timeline did CXS die, it was definitely not in any of the cases we've seen so far as they've been relatively safe, the only possibility is the moment when he got shot. But in the og memory, CXS wasn't wearing that black performance suit when he bled out, he was wearing his usual shirt and jacket ..

The memories appeared in QianLing's mind cuz most likely she inherited pink hair girl's powers (through the teardrop), and LG teleported (with CXS's powers which he inherited after his death) to the past to save CXS. At which point in time he transported to, I have no idea, and I would really like to know too

Li Tianchen just traded another monster with another. Maybe it's because he feels he has nothing more to lose but it's really cheapening the sacrifices of both his mother and sister. Stupid boy needs to die quickly in season 3.

So, CXS had died in the events of last season's finale, the whole LG getting stabbed was in his made-up parallel future. He keeps going back in time since then to save him - and that's why he knew about the boat timing stuff - and watches him die in every parallel future.
And that’s the whole point of the hat guy's monologue at the end, you can't change someone's fate.
Holy fuckin shit!!!!!
@Calypso_mk woah that might actually explain why he knew the boat timing and place... wth man

Didn't really like the final episode of this. It was pretty much just flashback after flashback and constant melodrama all throughout.

Honestly, I miss the Death Note + Steins Gate vibe that season 1 gave off. Season 2 kinda just did away with all that and basically turned into Tekken. Suddenly everyone's a trained martial artist for some reason.

Quite a good season, too much cliffhangers but overall pretty solid. Did not expect there to be something hinting about 3rd season that is not yet out and probably not even announced (?), well, it is what it is

@wiksbae Not sure if that proves anything, because when Xiaoshi possessed that guy with glasses in Season 1 during the basketball arc, he couldn't see clearly because while the guy was nearsighted, Xiaoshi wasn't, and he couldn't see clearly until he wasn't wearing the glasses that were destroyed.

Although then again, since everyone that is possessed has their eyes changed with the person that is possessing them, I guess you could argue that's an exception.

Another amazing season!! The music that this anime creates is out of this world. The animation was stunning, characters are all so unique, and just the story in general is a gem. This is definitely one of my favourite animes' oat. Really hope a season 3 gets adapted, because I can't get enough of this. PEAK ANIME!!🔥🔥🙌✅️🤩🐐

True. First season NAILED the emotionality that this show naturally has plus the charming suspense, this one was filled with melodrama cranked up to the max plus weak "villains", the conflict was weak andbonly made the ending of s1 weaker, which would have ended beautifully without that cliffhanger for the sake of the second season

See, I love the story, but a copious use of flashbacks and recaps kinda reduced my enjoyment. So many instances where it would have been better to have revelation just be as it is without going back into a flashback to show us previous scenes in a newer context.

So while I love the story, I am not a big fan of the way it is told. Feels like they were trying to dumb it down.

Still, ending had me hyped. This entire timeline seems to be Lu violating his own rule of never changing the past, and if true, that means the timeline isn't actually set in stone.

Crazy stuff all around.... but OFFICER WANG STILL BEING ALIVE SOMEHOW, tops it all.

Link Click season 2 had my curiosity throughout, but now it's got my attention. Xiaoshi actually died, but Lu Guang did a clutch gamer move and saved him... but at the same time re-wrote history, the one thing he had been telling Xiaoshi this whole time NOT to do. I don't know if it's in this side story Bridon arc or if it'll be in season 3, but no doubt there's going to be some implications to him doing so. One thing I am quite bummed out about and which I got wrong, is that Li Tianxi does actually die. Dammit man. Why couldn't the edgy brother die instead. The murderer walks free while the innocent one gets a bullet to the chest. Amazing. I guess life just ain't fair is it. Well I'm glad that Li Tianchen didn't kill both his dad AND mom, like I remember someone theorizing. He controlled his mom to kill his dad, but not before the dad stabbed the mom- tragic. I guess the mom really never was cheating either it seems like. Both murdered wives in this story were actually innocent this whole time, but had the unfortunate hand of husbands assuming the worst dealt to them. While this should make me tear my hair out, it did all feel a bit forced and fabricated, making it a little hard to get truly emotionally invested, imho. I guess the most emotion I personally went through this whole season was here in the last episode as Qiao Ling is going through Li Tianxi's memories, seeing all that she went through, living only a life of pain, all the way to the bitter end. Wth man. Nonetheless, I'll reserve some copium on the side in that she'll be coming back. Lu Guang saved Xiaoshi, after all. I guess after two seasons of maintaining timelines, fate is going to be altered.

This is a good way to end season 2. Season 1's ending was freaking brutal and abrupt, just leaving you there going "wtf". Like it's a good cliffhanger, but a bit too much I think to make you wait 2 years after. At least this one, we get things tied up. There's still questions and unknowns, but for the better part of it this arc has actually concluded.

It was better than watching it in Chinese, but the English dub was just as lifeless as you'd expect from any other anime. If there's a Japanese dub of this out there somewhere, idk where it is, but I want it. Japanese VA's are listed beside the characters here on the MAL anime page, so it must exist.

A good watch like season 1 was, wouldn't call it better or worse, and it still doesn't quite get a pass. Another 6/10 for Link Click, everything still feels a bit shaky. Like I'm sure the brainstorming sessions in the writers room went crazy, but it felt like it didn't far enough past rough drafts and revisions and such. Boy I don't know how to put it and that's on me, but I'll just say while it APPEARS they planned everything out from the start, it FEELS like they're just making stuff up as we go along. Still, gonna jump right into the Bridon Arc, and will remain excited for season 3 when it comes around.

What a wonderful way to wrap things up while setting up for a season 3. This episode, along with the 9th one, were absolute cinema. One of the best anime episodes I have watched, in general.
