โข Favorite genres: Drama, adventure, suspense
โข Scoring is subjective and based mainly on enjoyment, plot, good character writing, overall impact and originality
โข I've been reading more manga and LNs this year. My priority and preferable medium is still anime
โข I will go to war defending Sasuke who has been my favorite character since I was 7-8
โข I kin Dazai
โข I read mostly K-bls (J-bls are better but less accessible). I prefer darker themes and a strong story outside the romance
โข I like stories with queer characters where romance isn't the main focus (Tshd, No.6). Again, what matters most is a strong splot and side characters I actually care about - recs will be appreciated
It might take me a while to respond, but I'm always happy to talk about anime and in general (No minors! and don't be weird).

Haha yeah, Kuroro is a really interesting character, and an important one too. His confrontation with Hisoka is wild, not to mention what the Phantom Troupe represents for him… Anyway, I won’t spoil haha.
Oh, which character are you talking about? Because two of them have died since then, but yeah. I CAN’T WAIT for you to catch up xD.
By the way, where did you stop in Berserk?
Oh, no… I just realized why some people hate Yuta, but that’s a HUGE spoiler, I really can’t tell you. Just know it happens in the final arc, and let’s just say a certain action by Yuta… caused a lot of talk lol.
Unfortunately yes, Maki is the best-developed female character in JJK, actually, maybe the only well-developed one. And I say unfortunately because there’s ONE female character who hyped everyone up with her strength and personality, but also with a mysterious past (and yeah… her baddie looks LOL). You might already have an idea who I’m talking about, but just know Gege handled her character REALLY badly, to the point where it gets frustrating. Anyway, you’ll see that later in season 3.
Haha, Gojo is irreplaceable, but yeah, we definitely won’t get bored with him, I promise.
I haven't really checked what the new seasonals are. I only saw a glimpse of that invisible guy (Idk the name, hopefully you know what I'm talking about lol), so maybe I'll try that one.
As of this message.....I still haven't watched the CSM Movie LOL!! It really is something wild (after the rez arc, but tbh, it's all so wild, in an entertaining way).
Those are still good resolutions!!! For me it's to stay fit, draw and read more!! :D
I am sorry for my late reply! T-T
Hopefully you had a good week!! :D
Haha, I totally get you. I used to hesitate about catching up with the manga as well, but eventually the impatience took over, and I caught up pretty easily… unfortunately.
Oh, I see. So you really don’t know anything at all…
Alright, without spoiling you, just know that there’s ONE absolute masterclass fight that had everyone on edge, and it’s also one of the central points of the current storyline.
Oh, and in the manga we finally got Chrollo Lucilfer’s flashback, but I won’t spoil that haha.
And as you can probably guess, the clash between Hisoka and the Phantom Troupe has started. Hisoka has already fought a few members, and let me tell you, in my opinion, and for very obvious reasons, he’s actually stronger than Kuroro… it’s just that Kuroro makes up for it with his insane combat intelligence.
Yeah, it’s really unfair. Yuta Okkotsu is an excellent character, I honestly don’t understand why people hate him. On top of that, he’s way better written than most of the cast, so I really don’t get the so-called hate, but oh well.
And yeah, Yuta is a straight-up jujutsu genius, nothing more, nothing less. He’s already one of the best cursed energy users in just one year… and he’s done some things… anyway, he’s a genius haha.
Oh, it’s simply his aura lol. In the manga, those scenes weren’t really like that, but the anime gave him so much aura that he really climbed up in my ranking.
And it made me realize that if the anime can give him that much flow in a totally random moment, then when he actually gets serious in a real fight… I can’t even imagine the insane aura he’ll have.
Haha, same here! And yeah, the guy is really talented xD.
Thanks!!
I'm doing pretty good
Yep, it’s a shame we don’t have a continuation right now, but you’re right: the most important thing is to thank the author for everything he’s already done for this manga. He delivered a true masterclass, huge respect to him.
And YES!! The current arc is SUPER interesting as usual xD, but the stakes are especially high right now, more than ever before.
There’s also the future clash between Hisoka and the Phantom Troupe that has me insanely hyped…
Honestly, you never get bored reading it, and I feel like this arc could end up being even longer than the Chimera Ant arc, but we’ll see.
Oh no, not at all lol. Yuta Okkotsu isn’t hated at all, he actually has a huge fanbase in the manga. In a popularity poll, he ranked 4th, so yeah.
Exactly, he’s the true successor to Gojo. He’s going to do some absolutely crazy stuff, you have no idea, but yeah, I’ll let you enjoy it haha.
Yeah! The two-year wait was totally worth it. The quality is EXCELLENT, MAPPA really are the GOATs.
And yeah, part 1 will have 13 episodes, but I’m pretty sure part 2 will also come out this year, just like with the previous two seasons. We’ll see.
Haha, yeah, that insane aura. By the way, I didn’t particularly like Yuta in the manga, but the anime really made him rise in my esteem, and not by a little. He’s not called “Gojo’s successor” for nothing.
Yeah, that’s the worst part LOL. But it’s a beautiful addition by the animators, as always.
Naoya Zenin was always arrogant in the manga, but he’s never flexed this hard in front of Choso haha. That was definitely fan service for his fans in Japan, especially since he ranked 5th in the popularity poll.
Haha, I won’t spoil anything, but I really hope you enjoy it :D
Oh, and I totally agree with you: Satoru Gojo is the best-developed character in the manga, all the way to the end. He’s the character that annoyed the author the most, but also the one he took the most time to carefully polish. I honestly think his writing is perfect from start to finish.
Exactly. For me too, Hunter x Hunter is the shonen par excellence. I really don’t see a single flaw in it, everything is done with a master’s hand. It’s a shame the author is so sick, because honestly, I can’t even imagine the absolute insanity we would’ve gotten otherwise.
Oh no, quite the opposite lol. I think Yuta Okkotsu was actually favored by the author, since he’s a bit too important to the overall story.
Oh, I see haha.
it was my first time seeing it and I LOVED it!!
Honestly, MAPPA is kinda abusing at this point lol, what was that insane level of quality?? I honestly feel like this season might be even better than season 2, and I really didn’t think that was possible LOL.
And don’t even get me started on the characters… Yuta Okkotsu, damn, his flow was WAY too clean, like, a true successor to Satoru Gojo haha.
As for Naoya Zenin, what can I even say… his performance was so good lol. We’ve only seen him for two episodes so far (in the anime at least) and I already like him a lot, even though he didn’t really interest me in the manga. So yeah.
Anyway, you get it, I loved EVERYTHING about these episodes: the characters, the animation, even the visuals and the opening… everything is perfect haha.
Well obviously haha. HxH handled deaths really well in every arc. Honestly, I can’t find a single flaw in HxH, I’ve tried looking for one, but I just can’t lol.
Hmm, I see what you mean and I partly agree. Oh, and just so you know, the author’s favorite character is Nanami… yeah, Gege shows no mercy lol.
Oh, by the way, the first two episodes of season 3 dropped yesterday, have you seen them?
That really is one of the benefits of binge watching :'). I feel like i've kinda done that after im halfway through a series. So I would have the last 4 episodes and I can just watch the rest of them in one day.
IM GLAD YOU LOVED HELLS PARADISE!! Im sure you're excited for season 2 now haha!!
AAHHHHH, I still haven't watched the CSM movie T-T. OMG that's awesome how you watched it in the cinema!! (Totally not jealous haha). Oh I plan to watch it before S2! And yes lets hope it this year!
Also happy late new year!!! Have you got any new years resolutions? :p
P.S: New Year. New Journey.
As for the comparison with HxH’s Chimera Ant arc, sure, there’s no contest. In my opinion, that arc is the best shonen arc of all time. But JJK’s Shibuya arc is still one of the best arcs ever. I’ve rarely seen an arc that keeps you under that much tension the entire time, and the deaths, even though they’re brutal, still hit hard because you don’t see them coming. I also think you really had to experience that arc while it was airing to fully appreciate it, especially the frustration of waiting a whole week for the next episode haha.
Yeah, here I totally agree with you. One of JJK’s problems is that it moves way too fast. You don’t really have time to get attached to certain characters, and some barely get any screen time at all, which is why some deaths don’t hit as hard.
As for season 3, it won’t be like season 2. It’s more structured and really lays the foundation for what will be developed later on, even if it still feels like a battle royale, except the scale is WAY bigger than Shibuya. I hope you’ll like it.
and plenty of beautiful moments in the year ahead๐ซ
