It’s a WIT Studio anime original. Amazing piece of art. I recommend you look at the recommended section underneath the MAL page for Vivy and pick what might interest you based on what other people think.

Not an anime (yet, I hope it eventually gets one) but Stella of the End Visual Novel has a lot of similarities to Vivy and the atmosphere of NieR Automata

not an anime but an indie animation, Knights of Guinevere, just one pilot episode released but it gave me vibes of Vivy's universe

Time travel aspect or hint of it? I was thinking of Summertime Rendering. One-to-one vibes? Watch Glitch's Knights of Guinevere (this is not an anime like the ones usual). Humanoids, there's a lot but I'll side with NieR: Automata ver.1.1a. Lastly, I should have you read its light novel variant (Vivy Prototype - shown in photo) which contains four volumes of the same story but with the sense of what-ifs (I won't spoil you, but Vivy in LN throwing hands already with no hesitation in the Sun-Crash arc on the second half of the first volume).

More than anything else, I thought about mnemosyne when this came out. The core concept is pretty much the same, but the execution is... different.

Planetarian is definitely a good one. I think it probably fits better than most of the other suggestions in here. It's also another one that really went under most people's radar.

Gleipnir; story not concluded in the anime

Deca - Dence; this was a phenomenal watch, same technological vibe as Vivy, but it's not about AI robots taking over the world

It's very good, but the whole time travel thing and how it impacted the ending of the anime was kind of bad. Try Violet Evergarden. Vivy is an 8, Violet is a 9.5 (it's just not 10 because it ends)

Plastic Memories is another good anime about robots. I think both Vivy and Plastic Memories feel like video games, as a matter of fact. I made a stack of anime based on video games, with a few that give off similar vibes.
