The timing couldn't have been far better than now because a while back they announced Irosekai + Hoshizora HD versions being resold for the first time
Pretty sure 9 -nine- only covers episodes 1 and 2, so there's not need to rush reading it.
Being able to understand at least bits and pieces of Japanese gives like a strange feeling, I don't know how to say, satisfaction? Yeah, consuming a ton of anime without the idea of learning Japanese kind of helped me as well. I haven't focused much on listening because I think watching/hearing a ton of anime beforehand boosted my listening comprehensibility.

I am really excited for the 9 -nine- anime. I cannot wait to see Sora and Haruka coming to life in anime form. Hopefully you finish your backlog by the end of the year -w-
Favorite's artstyle is one of the factors that piqued my interest and adding Nakige to that is a huge plus. I am a type of person who likes tearjerker stories and sol, so I cannot wait to read all of their visual novels.

Same, I got influenced by CLANNAD and I start watching Angel Beats!, Kanon, AIR, Little Busters, Rewrite. I was then deeply in love with Key studio work, as it really does have a way of impacting deeply with viewers.
It's interesting how certain genres can hit differently in anime compared to other mediums. I’ve found that romance and drama in anime often have a unique emotional depth that’s hard to replicate elsewhere.

I started to get influenced by Visual Novel after I watch CLANNAD, Kanon and White Album 2 back in the days. Even though I may not be as avid as you, I would like to explore the genre more.
I am also fond of Key work and that is also why I am so hype on Summer Pockets, which I purchased the physical copy last year. I really hope they could adapt the story well in the anime.

i never read irotoridori no sekai but i am waiting for the day someone sells it secondhand for a good price. right now it is sitting around 24k yen for secondhand, which is a bit uhhh...a lot of people around me really like the series a lot, so i hope you enjoy that, once you finish sci;adv series and 9-nine- series of course.
