| Oh man, Marie, she's just being herself and trying the best to serve her duties. I think this anime is just taking its time to build the relationship between her and Arthur. He sees her like a human. I'm impressed by her combat abilliteis though. I think up to this point, no one can match her yet in a one on one fight. |

| Considering that arthur seems fully committed to the idea that Marie is a robot his "relationship" to her is pretty creepy. Definitely some ETA Hoffmann stuff going on here. But I wonder how long we will keep up the facade that Marie is a robot, if it really takes until the end of the season (or not even then...) to find out the truth it's gonna get really tired pretty soon I'm afraid. But then again you would give up on your one unique idea, so it's probably here to stay. |

| I wanna like this show because Marie and Arthur are cute and the gimmick of Marie pretending to be a robot and protecting him is fun, but I just can’t shake the generative AI allegations. It looks like they’re going to be consistently relying on those water paint style shots too which is a real bummer. Today’s episode was really sweet too. Marie getting flustered by Arthur kissing her was adorable, I love the gap moe with her internal monologues and her stoic facial expressions. This mini arc reminded me of ninkoro with Roboko now that we’ve got an actual robot Marie lol. |

Marie should take advantage of how Arthur eats up anything she says and just tell him she's an advanced model that runs on protein bars or something. The chiptune lullaby from Marie 2 had me dying lol |

| This show is decent but these "AI" art stills being thrown in are so distracting. Like the couple at the start of the episode weren't too bad, but the later ones during the fight scene were implemented so poorly. They're so distracting and out of place that it's really ruining the quality of the show and bringing the whole thing down, they might've worked if it was for comedic effect, but with how they're used here it's pretty terrible. We have a week till the next episode, please, somebody draw some better implemented stills, they aren't even really animated so it should be doable right? My coping aside, it really only takes a week or two at most for someone to draw out a few stills and barely animate them if at all, especially given this show's simple art style. This is just really saddening to see. |

| Decent episode, but I swear to God, Arthur would literally believe anything that comes out of Marie's mouth. Goodness gracious. Anyway, I’m super excited to see how both mechanical Marie and Marie #2 compete to (hopefully, eventually) win Arthur’s heart. I'm 100% sure the heroine will be the winner, though. |

I'd appreciate it if you could read and comprehend what was being said before making a "fuck you" response. I said "AI" in quotation marks cause I knew it wasn't, you completely misunderstood the point of my statement. Whether it's AI art or not is pretty irrelevant because it doesn't change the fact that it fits horribly into this show and is really poorly implemented. The reason is this show has an incredibly simple art style, yet randomly throws in highly artistic stills for almost no reason, with the "fight scene" ones being insanely distracting at best, annoying at worst. Comedies usually do stuff like it for comedic effect but it doesn't fit here, at all. It's a poor directing issue more than anything else. If you don't find it to be distracting that's fine, you don't have to agree, but I don't do arguments and insults, civil conversations only please. |

Like calling him "not the sharpest tool in the shed" would be an insult to the dull tools sitting my shed. I have some confidence this won't get stuck in a never ending "I must hide my identity" loop like some shows, but Arthur is the main thing making me think otherwise. |

| Probably because it's based on a shōjo manga, the entire story is completely focused on romantic comedy. It suffers from “DE-OCHI” (meaning the beginning is the climax, after which it devolves into mediocrity) and unnatural developments scattered throughout, revealing sloppy aspects of the writing. |

| The misanthropes of Arthur and Marie in their pseudo roles for the Zetes Corporation's garden party, even the former's hate for green peppers is one. Although if there're any supporters on his end, it would be the Rusty family of Charlotte and Carl, and what a sight of a "robot" having to save the main view of the champagne flasks, which Charlotte suspects that Marie is not a robot. And as expected, with enemies all over the party coming from Maynard's end, Marie does what she's told with Arthur's reassurance to get compliments from his audience. And what a reward she earned, from a dress to a kiss. The thing is, Arthur being more conscious that Marie is acting human than most, it truly sets off a flurry of hilarious reactions for the former to assess his "maid robot" and the latter to just wing it off his game. This only exacts Roy to fire Marie ASAP if they can't hold the lie any further, though he has arranged for the actual robot maid Marie 2 as an upgrade. However, with how fond Arthur is to the human Marie, having both her and the robot Marie duke it out...only for Arthur to continue his misanthropy about the human, he's just too attached to her enough for Roy to let her go. The battle between the human and robot Marie, how well would they work together going forward? |
