It sucks for Zanka but maaan I LOLD hard when reading that part in the manga! You thought it was your typical cliche powerup moment, but NOPE, Zanka is having a delulu moment!

| that zanka backstory... just what ive been asking for, plus it was way too relatable. also idc that it was a hallucination, zanka getting back up was goated if zanka dies though.... sigh and also the usual subverting of the stereotype of the good guy getting back up and winning against the odds after a flashback |

It was a good episode... until they had to return to present. God, I heavily dislike anything regarding Jabber.

| Even though it made me so happy seeing the younger versions of Enjin and Riyo, seeing Zanka's hallucinating state made me really sick 😖 Still a good episode though |
| This episode is honestly a much-needed backstory for the characters, in this case, that character being Zanka. Now I must admit that Zanka's whole backstory is ridiculous; I wouldn't even call it tragic. It's just a wakeup call for a narcissistic so-called prodigy, wallowing in his sense of superiority, only to be shown the true extent of his mediocrity by someone who far outclasses him in combat. What is there to know besides that Zanka got two other siblings and that he's a hard worker? I assume that the current Zanka is fixated on proving that his hard work could surpass Hyo's natural skills, but then again, what is he doing all the way out here being a cleaner unless he took Hyo's words to heart and began to run away from his familial obligation because 'there is no reason to stand at the top'. In any case, as I said before, backstories are so vital imo to shonen characters, because otherwise Zanka is just 'a guy witha stick' BRUH he has never taught Rudo anything despite being his 'mentor' other than that 1 ep. Come on And now he's tweaking with jabber, lol |

| I really like Zanka. His backstory is pretty relatable to be honest. I think just wanting to prove yourself and everyone else wrong is a total valid reason to be motivated. I hate Jabber, he's so fucking creepy. Kinda hard not to laugh alongside them weirdly enough |
