Yeah like I expected, they were just setting up stuff for the next season. I mean, Rudo’s relationship with the Undertaker. Not a big fan tho we didn't get to see, what eventually could've been a great place to conclude this season in its entirety, but ok, we move. After all the serious stuff the guys went throughout the season, they needed a break with the field trip sort of.
Anyway, if there's one thing this series should work on, it’s the fucking theme songs. Like both the openings sucked.. how can they be this bad lol. I know they wanna keep it funky and stuff, but yeah, that ain’t a reason. That aside, this had a rocky start but we somehow ended up on a high. Next season will be even better.. like seriously. Looking forward.

| Really like this anime, 24 episodes flew by, the artistic design is very original and the battle powers are not too strong or exaggerated. Bones really did a good job there, i like the 2nd opening a lot. It's remind me a little like Shaman King a "Shonen" very different from the rest. It was good to hear Zenitsu again at the end of the season :) Eager to watch season 2 soon!! |

| Good riddance it's finished. The openings carried, the anime itself would be a 9/10 or maybe a 10/10 if that asshat of a protagonist would brake his neck in the 1st ep. What's up with Japan and placing annoying pieces of s. as protagonists. |
| I wonder what Fu's deal is. I kind of want the Cleaner's to take him in, but he seems the sort to be easily influenced. That revelation at the end was certainly a way to end the season. Looking forward to the next! |

Awwww, Rudo being the big bro of these little children's field trip, lol, look at how pumped he is watching over his the 3 of them! But it's quickly proved that he should NOT consume any sweets, or else he'll go feral. At least he knows how to fend off a kidnapper and save the kids. NO DIDDY
Kyouka is 100% Kei Urana's self-insert; she's the most elegant woman in the series by far. She got that drip down fr fr.
And finally, a wonderful cliffhanger for the 2nd season, Rudo finally revealed his full name, Rudo Surebrec, a descendant of an old undertaker. Seems like his bloodline got some history whether it be on the Sphere or on the ground.
Pretty cool ending to Gachiakuta, it's not often that we get a 2-cour adaptation of a new shonen title. Overall, I must say the story is interesting enough to keep me engaged, especially the art direction in particular. Really give it its own unique, stylized looks.
Still would've loved if they didn't oversell Rudo's apparent 'rage' as much as they did in the first ep. Now, in hindsight,t it felt like his fury was immature and childish, which makes sense given his development, but I would've wished he went a tad bit edgier.

Great cliffhanger. I'm more interested in the lore and mystery than anything else. Everything else is mid to me.

| I feel like nothing has happened in 24 episodes. There is a little of character growth here and there, a few relative interesting mysteries and world building details. The protagonist is a little generic and the villain was weak to be honest. I find it all lacking. It is like if the story is still waiting to begin. But I am not dissapointed or have lost interest. I want to keep watching to know what it is about. |
| What a fun ride. The characters, their dialogue and dynamics, the art, OSTs, everything was pretty good. There are lots of mysteries and factions still left to be unveiled, and I’m excited for what’s coming next. Season 2 got confirmed too. Kyouka, huh… she is so fine. Also, the man in the post-ED scene looked like Tamsy. God, I hope Amo isn’t getting r*ped again. If that’s the case, Enjin needs to shove his umbrella up Tamsy’s ass and open it. The item the raider got in the last episode was named Undertaker Canis Surebec too. Let’s see where all this leads. Lol, I wonder if the Surebec name is gonna be the D. clan equivalent from One Piece. |

what an end to a mid series. jokes were corny and fights/arcs were anticlimactic. nothing is progressed and cleaners are dumb, rudo is the perfect woke shonen mc of the decade.   |

Those predators as be looking the same, good thing made sure that his reproductive organs struggle to heal for sum time 😭 Real question should be who tf was Macaca and why he's connected to the man who once had the watchman series. | It started very strong and has many good episodes. My only problem is, that the last 3 episodes felt not so good and we have a cliffhanger ( yeah i know we get a second season, but i can only rate the first one) 7/10, good one. |

| Yet an other anime protagonist secretly tied to a historically important figure. How original. Gachiakuta pretends to be about disposable marginal lives and systemic cruelty. But tying the MC to a "significant lineage" undermines it instantly. If the point is: "Anyone discarded by society can matter" Then the reveal quietly mutates it into: "Well, this one mattered all along, actually." As always in 99% of shonen. Boring and generic anime. I'll give it a 2 for effort. |

| Lmao the kick in the nutt for this kidnapper, that was perfect, and I love how this season ends on a cliffhanger regarding Rudo's family and origins, Amo as well on the post-credit scene... can't wait for S2! |

| And that's an end to Gachiakuta S1. It was a solid adaptation; Bones' animation made some epic scenes more epic and the more slice-of-life scenes more lively. They made some creative decisions which I think paid off. My one complaint is the pacing, which I feel dragged as a result of all the dialogue. The worldbuilding and writing of this series is quite intriguing, and the character writing is great by battle shōnen standards; hopefully the pacing didn't ruin that, though it probably did for people with shorter attention spans. We get to see more of Rudo's character growth this episode. He really is just an awkward edgy kid. The reveal of Rudo being related to the Undertaker is pretty huge. Also, can we appreciate Hideyoshi Andou, the graffiti artist for both the manga and the anime? Canvas Town looked incredible this episode thanks to his extensive collaboration with the anime team. Lastly, that post-credits scene... I was not expecting the reveal here. Can't wait for S2. |

| So a weird theory I have that Rudo and Zodyl (raider's leader) are related, their hair colors, face gives off a similar vibe. Also the fact both have watchman series + can use it like no one else! it would make sense if it was their ancestor's. No I did not read the manga, just my assumption not a spoiler. |

| Banger start to finish, Gachiakuta checked so many boxes throughout the tale: animation, soundtrack, character design, plot, the fights, symbolism and lore and etc. Perfect modern shounen formula at display, can't wait for the 2nd season. 🔥🔥🔥 |
