| Damn, that amnesia is definitely a problem for Gabimaru. Gotta also admire Mei's courage this episode. She's so young but hopes to make a difference. As expected, Sagiri always faces her problems head on. She's still the badass as I remember from the previous season. Decent episode. This had a mix of drama and emotional impact built on its story. |

| We'd have many major fights going forward, so yep, getting panties in a twist just because this one between Gabimaru and blondie didn't look like the best thing ever is pretty stupid. And yeah, tbh, the main point of this action sequence was making Mei grow bigger( ͡°( ͡° ͜ʖ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ʖ ͡°) ͡°).. .. I mean, getting Gabimaru closer to gaining his memories. I'm just glad we didn't waste ten more episodes on the amnesia stuff and got the whole gang back. We didn't get bochu jutsu between Gabimaru and Sagiri.. maybe for another day, but hey, I'm kinda curious how they'd go ahead adapting this. As yeah, lot of chapters are left to be adapted. |

| The amnesia subplot didn't last too long so now the story can progress further. I really liked the moment where Gabimaru was reminiscing about his wife. Some rare vulnerability for someone who's had it rough and been through a lot. |

| Sagiri really just cycled from gentle mother to stern mom to compassionate mommy within like a minute. I'm hoping really, really badly that Gabimaru isn't just being tricked by an especially vivid illusion because man, that description of Yui came from the soul. |

Toma stopped his brother while Gabimaru got knocked out cold. Sagiri's way of Bochu Jutsu with Gabimaru was so wholesome and cute. Mei was embarrassed seeing that. They were so cute in that moment, and the way Sagiri was smiling all the time. Also, man... the way Gabimaru described his wife was so fucking beautiful. It got me teary-eyed. The best part about the ep. for me. Such a lover boy. I love him so much. Sagiri calling Gabimaru her important ally is a growth from her side. She's so amazing as well. Such a good episode. | Didn't expect to see Mei grown up. I think it would've been much more interesting had one of the brothers died, this way it just feels way too convinient for the plot. |

Around the nice fighting between Gabimaru and Chobei's coolio plant form, their fight was cut short by Mei which is for the best since Gabimaru was planning on killing himself and kill the Aza brothers at the same time heuh. Chobei came to realization that he's hurting his own brother as well at that time. Next, the main gang meets the other main gang and not long already, Gabimaru's lost memories had to be dealt with quickly so that he can properly fight for himself and the others. Sagi performs a similar type of bochu jutsu (lol) and their tao is compatible yuhuh and the amnesia arc is already over :3 Glad to see Gabimaru's optimism abt his wife not being an illusion because he is simply him mhm. Can't wait to see their plan next! They are bound to fight the rest of the Tensens anyway if they want to escape somehow. Lastly, Chobei seems to take Ls wherever he goes after encountering the first two Tensens with his brother Toma, next he alone encounters the main antagonist being the leader of the dangerous island pfftt. |

He cares about nothing except his brother Toma. Tamiya was shocked to see Mei in her adult form and he was only talking about Yuzuriha's ass and Sagiri's boobs lmao Glad to see the survivors meeting up with each other. | Gantetsusai was an absolute monster this episode and the MVP , just look at his feats walked around half naked like a chad He complimented a young lady and called her cute Complemented the other ladies figure ( he told yuzu she has a nice ass) and (told sagiri she has a nice big boobs ) Beat up his friend when he was trying to continue fighting and might off himself and encouraged the same friend to fight for what he believe in and offered assistance Made a bun about his amputated hand |
| The quality difference is night and day between the first and second seasons. The animation and art are so much better here, it’s so nice to see this story getting the production quality it deserves. Obviously everyone’s gonna be talking about the Gabimaru fight with Toma brother today, but for me the highlights are 1: the Sagiri x Gabimaru moments and 2:Gabimaru remembering his wife. I know Gabimaru’s married and committed to his wife, but let me be delusional, in an AU, he and Sagiri would be the perfect couple. The anime definitely makes it feel like she has feelings for him on a deeper, romantic level, but from what I’ve heard from manga readers that’s not the case at all. Seems like the anime staff just wanted to create a little drama there. The blushing, straddling Gabimaru and then the way she looks at him in general.. 😭 That said, even though I love Sagiri, I really respect how loyal Gabimaru is to his wife and how he yearns for her on such a spiritual level. Grown man shit. Makes him unique among battle shonen MCs. She’s his reason for being and I hope he gets back to be with her, with that pardon. |

| Aza and Gabi really got into their fight there. Mei's consequence of using her powers was a growth spurt lol. Nice for the cast to finally be reunited. Still looks like Gabi's gone back to his old self as a result of that fight. But still its an interesting dilema that Sagiri had in that she's not really his friend but his jailer. Still its funny seeing her get a little revenge while healing him. |

However, the pacing does feel a bit bogged down by the heavy exposition regarding Tao mechanics. While necessary for the Horai arc's progression, it results in a middle act that feels slightly sluggish compared to the premiere. |

Shion getting jealous at Gantetsusai for telling a dad joke was pretty funny too These episodes are paced well, the plot and character growth keep moving. This anime will not waste your time, but be sure to pay attention. So glad the amnesia didn't last long  |
