So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

Sounds like it'd be fun, unless the synopsis forgot to mention Yaoi or ecchi, I'll definitely give this a try.
I probably regret this post by now.

Detective? Slice-of-life? If this actually pulls out something like Mushishi and gives us more insights on philosophy and stuff, then gents, we've found a winner.

Someone should add the manga, because I don't see one on MAL, and it caught my interest.

Might watch it as the premise sounds somewhat interesting. I don't see the manga entry on MAL either but given the fact that it's a slapstick gag manga, maybe it won't be a full 20-24 minute anime series but shorter.

Does anyone else find it odd that an older series is being animated? From what I've seen, normally the manga that gets an anime adaption is relatively new, like the past 5 years. This one is 11 years old. Granted, it's still being serialized, but still...

Never heard of the animation studio and the art looks.... really funky. Considering that the manga seems to be virtually unknown I have a feeling this might be something that falls under the category of 'terribad'. Still, I'll give it a shot.

It's good that older series are being animated. Maybe they will start a bandwagon and start animating more older manga series. Hopefully.

why would that be odd? its not even the only old series to get adapted, jojo's first 2 volumes got adapted last year with the 3rd next and uchouten kazokuwas a adaption of a book released almost 10 years ago

its a really good thing that older things are being adapted, there are alot of gems long forgotten or left entirely untranslated that deserve their time to shine no matter how many years later

I dont know if that would be a good thing, if everyone started flocking to adapt older series over new ones, then the industry would become stagnant and new ideas + originality would lower

if you want a good example of what would happen, go look at how hollywood turned out when they started just remaking and adapting older things from the 80's and 70's....its not pretty

Look at the art, look at the shoujo tag, and read the synopsis. Now, you still think so?

I'd rather have them animate shoujo romance instead ):

I'm not saying that they should only adapt older ones, but they should pick them up from time to time.

well then thats not a bandwagon, currently the industry is already time to time doing older adaptions

I am grateful that people often write "bare" when they mean "bear" and vice versa. Because it makes what they said even funnier.
