That makes a lot of sense! I wished the anime explained this. I thought "vassal heroes" were the same as "cardinal heroes" but simply different names for different worlds. |

| Pretty Rishia focused ep with her short backstory along with the reveal about how to kill the God Tortoise. The Japanese writing left behind by a previous hero was cool, surprised it didn't make Naofumi feel homesick or nostalgic. Ayy L'arc and Therese are back along with Glassu, interesting trio. |

| Rishia is really pathetic as a character. Glass and others have appeared out of nowhere, eh? I guess that's it. I don't feel invested anymore in this show. Time to drop it, however it wasn't as bad as I've been told. |
| I can really join in on the Rishia hate. All the talking and her emotional ups and downs take up soooo much time and add little to nothing to the show. Despite that a pretty good episode drawing from the strengths of the OST of S1. Excited how Naofumi will measure up against the 3 since they were already afraid of how strong he would become. |

| It hurts me to say this because I loved Season 1 so much but so far this season has been absolutely shite. This arc feels like it shouldn’t be taking up this much of the season as then there’s the fact that these random people have popped up and Naofumi just seems to trust them… which is MASSIVELY out of character for him. Also Rishia…. She’s so fucking annoying and I really couldn’t care less about her. She’s not been developed as a character very well |

| I don't get it. The other three Cardinal Heroes clearly stated they wanted nothing to do with the Spirit Tortoise quest. So how on Earth could they have ended up inside the Tortoise? Did they change their mind and that was axed during editing? 🤔 |

| I don't know, I actually enjoyed this episode better than the other one, it seems they are starting to give some depth to the story. Still, the new characters are still like nobodies to me, the arc continues to make little sense, and the animation could be so much better. A pretty big downgrade from the 1st season in my opinion. Look, it's the characters that appeared in the end of season 1, I don't even know if this will make the arc better or even worse. Maybe the 1st arc where Naofumi was all alone was the best thing here, and after that it just starts becoming like every other isekai? I hope not, I still have faith that the next arc is going to be better. It's already showing some signs of recovery I guess. |
