| It takes place in the near-future, and there's mention of humans travelling to mars, why is it not possible for it to take place in the same universe as Cowboy Bebop? Watanabe-san isn't really known for doing cameos, but I'd love to see a cameo with a Cowboy Bebop character. |

Bebop took place in the 21st century though. Faye's backstory involves her being born in the 90s and traveling into space in about 2014, and she was frozen until a few years before the show began in the 2070s. Bebop goes for the cool near-future factor without really caring about whether or not that future is realistic, as even in 1998 I feel like the amount of interstellar development depicted by the show seemed unlikely to happen in the next century. The story is set with the lifetimes of many people who'd end up watching Bebop to emphasize that space is still a "new frontier" within Bebop's universe just like America once was, which works with the show's Western themes. The timeline could definitely intersect with Carole and Tuesday's if they wanted to, but I'm not sure if Bones would be able to reference a Sunrise show with different producers. |

| I'm pretty certain it does happen in the same universe as Cowboy Bebop - or at least it's trying to reference it. They mention 'woolongs' as the currency when buying that AI and the story happens in some 'Alba City'... this is all in Cowboy Bebop! Also, it's Mars. So I'm thinking this was completely intentional. |
| It is very probable and there is no problem that they form of the same universe, Cowboy Bebop and Carole & Tuesday share similarities when leaving the earth and settling in Mars, easily both stories could be taken in simultaneous after all they has nothing to do with each other. As for Space Dandy, it would clearly be hundreds or thousands of years in the future, with humanity already exploring beyond our solar system. The three shows could coexist in the same universe and it would be great to see some reference of Cowboy Bebop in Carole & Tuesday but surely it will not happen. |

In the episode with the AI director, he watches an Anime/video with bikini girls on his phone. However, it also featured a robot that looked exactly like qt from space Dandy, so I think it does take place in the same universe.   EDIT: I just noticed that the blond girl also kind of looks like Honey from space dandy, but we can't see her face so take it as you will |
