Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season Part 2 Episode 12 Discussion

This season felt off, rushed and I saw a clear dip in overall quality.

but that doesn't change the fact Re:Zero Season 2 is still best written anime season of all time.

No idea how one could ever come to the conlusion that Re:Zero season 2 is the best written anime season of all time. I gave part 1 a solid 9/10 but part 2 totally butchered it. But even if you are only considering part 1 as "season 2" - its still far away from being the best written anime season of all time, simply because the conclusion is missing. There is a lot of build up which is all thrown out of the window in part 2.

I was really disappointed. So much dialogue, which was often unnecessarily criptic and stuff was sometimes not even pick up on later.

The whole season 2 could have been done in <20 episodes. So much blown up backstory which was not really necessary. I really hope they improve for season 3.

@Neppii someone who doesn't understand Re:Zero shouldn't be watching it. Especially S3.

I didn't insult them or anything, just stated an opinion. You like the work of season 2 part 2. I didn't. U guys should chill and not insult me with "not worth my breath" or "you haven't understood Re:Zero, so you shldn't have watched it". Thats childish.

Saying sth is the best of all time is a very high bar. And for me that was not reached. And I reasoned my opinion. Nothing more was said. I never said it was trash. But thats how u react.

But others might not like it. It's how it is. So stop blindly lashing out to people who critisize it. You won't see me attacking you because you think the ending of AoT is trash.

Criticism should make sense and be valid to all.
If you claim to understand(could have been done in <20 episodes) Re:Zero, tell us why didn't Echidna do the trials herself?
Why did she appear to Emilia(whom she hates the most and had no desire to interact) but not to Garfiel and Subaru(during the trials)?

How can we determine Fortuna's connection with Mather's family?
What were the main purposes of the Sanctuary?Ryuzu Bilma and Shima said two. What are the others(the more important ones)?

What was the goal of the trials?

I am pretty sure you won't be able to answer most of them without looking them up on Wiki.

That said, not everything is lashing out on someone else. It was just a humble suggestion. You would be wasting your valuable time and money on Re:Zero.

Don't know about missing parts don't really care tbh. That knight scene really hit hard when put in comparison to the royal disgrace Subaru pulled in season 1. Fantasies stories in terms of character development Re Zero definitly have one of the best MC. Getting spoiled by such a great season wouldn't really mind another 5 years for season 3 to be animated.
