| Finally got a cool moment from Tao. All this time I never really had a feeling or care about him, I was as apathetic to him as he seems to be about everything. Thought I'd head something similar to what Ertegun beatboxed for Tao...but nope. Ertegun's performance was what you'd typically get from those types of musical acts at a music festival. As for C&T, the song was nice but horrible for that time slot at a major festival. They would fit better during an afternoon time slot, or that night time slot but not at the main stage. And hope there is more with the Black Knight. Would like to know how he is, why he was doing all of this...just some depth to his character. If this is how he's part of the story ends, then that is very disappointing. |
| I really enjoyed the fact Tao got involved in the whole stalker incident with Angela. Even though I wish Tao would either stop giving Angela false hope over the fact her feelings won’t be answered or he would answer to her feeling, I can’t see Tao x Angela happening in this show. By now the series had made it pretty clear not to mix business and love (pleasure) together, or you’ll crash and burn. I don’t want to see that happening to either Angela or Tao. The only way I could see them to be together is that Angela gets at the top and just quits at the peak of her fame while Tao gets fed up ridiculous people. I kind of see Jerry will do something to Tao to get him to his side which will put Angela’s whole career on pinch and after they have managed to overcome it (because come ON! It’s obvious by now nothing truly bad will happen to our main heroines), Tao will just be decided to stop trying to analyze stuff and go with Angela. That’s the ending I’m kind of wishing to them. This episode really played over the fact what kind of artists we have these days, eh? Angela represents musicians who can’t do their own music and rely others who can’t do singing (Ertegun) while Carole & Tuesday try to stay real. Angela is obviously a big, showy star who everybody wants to see, and they know they’ll have good time at her concerts. While Carole and Tuesday are more intimate artists. They seem to suit better with road trip life, going from one small pub to another one while Angela can hold stadium concerts. There why I found it a bit odd they BOTH were put on the same stage and the audience seemed to dig both? I honestly expected half of the audience change or sort of, but I suppose the budget went to Ertegun’s fireworks, lol. Anyway, it in a way was okay how they handed that, since Carole and Tuesday’s song was slow song, just after upbeat one. Even mega-artists do that to calm down the audience just to blast once again. But I would like them to show either Carole and Tuesday or Angela doing full concert to see if they can switch between those two music types or not. But considering the fact we’ve only four episodes left…I doubt it. We still have to deal Carole’s friend situation, which I’m sure will be next episode’s theme, since this one was Angela’s and 18 was all about Tuesday’s ‘romance’ (ugh, I KNEW they were going to sweep her so called ‘romance’ under the rug), so the next one seems to be about Carole. Unless they decided to focus more into politics and there why to Tao…or they’ll simply do both. But it makes me wonder what the three last episodes will then be if the next one will be about that? Maybe they’ll focus more about Tuesday’s mother and her political game? Because they’ve to tie that subplot too…which I’m not honestly looking for. The show should make its mind already if it wants to be musical one or political one. xP |

Unfortunately I think the excitement for this show has been dwindling for a while now which I kind of understand. I haven't been running to watch the latest episodes when they come out either. But the weird thing for me is that even though I'm not as excited to watch C&T as I once was, I'm still highly entertained whenever I do go to watch the latest episode. Like this episode really made me like Tao. He's been an enigma for so long but the few moments he had in this episode really made me like him. It's weird. Ertegun's song was cool, Angela's song was cool, but C&T's song...OHMYGOD that shit was so beautiful. I think this show has official made me a fan of Indie music because that was so laid-back and soothing that I think I could feel it heal my soul for a bit. Last thing, I have been seeing people complain about the political drama a lot since it came up in this show and I think people have been focusing on the wrong thing. I think there's a reason why they haven't shown what Earth is doing. They're not focusing on the policies, they are focusing on what it's doing to people. How it's driving them apart like when Spencer finally left Valerie. Jerry said in this episode "When it comes to researching the human brain in order to control emotions using AI, music and politics are very much alike" Remember this is a show about music and what has music done for people for the longest time? It brings people together. On the opposite end of the spectrum politics haven't done much but drive people apart especially when a politician's only goal is to get elected. This isn't just with what has been going on the U.S either. It's all around the world. The show can destroy everything I said next episode but so far that's my two-sense in the political drama. I think people are too focused on Valerie's policies rather than how it's driving people apart and how music brings people together. Last Last thing for the people who haven't been feeling the transition from Japanese to English singing, the dub is out on Netflix now and it is really good so check that out. |
| Both Angela's and C&T's songs were really basic, not bad but not exciting either But it was a nice episode, just as usual I'm impressed by Tao's involvement in this episode however, I didn't expect him to immediately "rescue" Angela Now, did he do it because he doesn't want his business to fail, or does he actually care about Angela ? |
| Tao noticed something wrong with Angela, so Dahlia told him about the situation with the stalker, he went to check Angela’s house and extracted a camera from her AI pet. Jerry (Valerie’s adviser) visited Tao and asked him for help to analyze the human brain with AIs, Tao rejected him, and Jerry left. Carole, Tuesday and Gus arrived to the festival, there was a rapper named Ezequiel, Carole went to talk to him and called him Amel, he left, later, they encountered with Angela arriving. During the concert, Tao prepared a system to localize the stalker, he felt and security went to backstage to capture him, he was a bait and Tao quickly realized he should be a security staff, Tao found the stalker pointing at Angela with a gun and Tao used a dispositive to knock him out. During Ertegun’s performance, he invited Angela and she appeared and sang her song, it ended and Carole & Tuesday entered to the stage, they decided to change their performance and had good reception. The episode was interesting, the confrontation between Tao and the stalker was exciting, and as I could understand, Valerie wants to use Tao’s abilities with AIs for her campaign. I preferred Angela’s performance, her vocal abilities highlighted more and did a great performance with Ertegun, as I said before, having feelings and a beautiful song is great, but not enough to beat Angela, I think Angela’s performance was better. Support band ended set aside, poor guys. |

| Once again dissapointed in this episode, the last few episodes was kinda meh and okayish at best. The songs were pretty dull and boring too. Well just waiting for the miracle 7 mins at this point. |

| Pretty awesome episode, we’re finally getting more of Angela v Carole & Tuesday! Pretty lazy conclusion to the whole Angela stalker mini-arc in all honesty with Tao solving it just in time to save Angela. HiroK is perfect for such roles, detective and the sort, but I think I’d preferred to see a better fight from the stalker himself. Pretty cool thumbs up there though, I’ve to say. Finally, we’re getting more of him now! Meanwhile, Tuesday is slowly recovering from the setback from last episode, good to see that. Carole, meanwhile, has met one of her past friends from the immigration camps? I wonder if that’ll serve as another mini-arc for Carole’s progression. Anyway, the real treat this episode was the music! And it totally delivered! Ertegun with a very interesting start to hype things up and of course Steve Aoki’s music blew it out of the park, great to see! Angela running in with all smiles and delivering a heck of a performance was really fun to watch too! Carole & Tuesday, on the other hand, deciding to play their own trump cards is a great idea in my opinion. Sure their performance wasn’t exactly flashy or anything but the song was undoubtedly pure and blissful. Lol @ the backing band in the background though, good thing Carole & Tuesday’s horrifying ideas were discarded. Just 5 more episodes to go, hopefully what’s to come won’t be rushed. We’ve still got the Politics bit to cover too, potential little arc with Carole and of course the wondrous 7 minute performance, so still a lot to cover I reckon. |

If it had been Roddy he'd finally be given something to do and have "his moment". (lol) If it had been Carole or Tuesday it would probably make Angela appreciate them more and might even open the door to a friendship or some kind of collaboration. Sometimes I lament for what could have been vs what was given. This stalker arc and how it ended is one of those times. I'm also still holding out hope that Angela is actually involved in "The Seven Minute Miracle" and simply isn't shown in the tease about it so we will be surprised, but I really shouldn't hold my breath. I think she deserves to be given a strong development arc/redemption arc. She's been through a lot, just like the girls have. I personally thought both performances were excellent as yo use the contrast. Angela is the firey diva with strong vocals while Carole and Tuesday hit you sweet and calmness. But you can also see how each song really feels them grow closer as characters. |

| Much better episode than the previous one. And it seems that the first half FINALLY dropped on Netflix. Good for the people who have been waiting to watch. Personally, still annoys me that it takes Netflix so long to add seasonly anime to their catalog and I hope that it'll change to simulcasts one day. At least for anime would be nice, but I doubt that'll ever happen considering Netflix's binge model. |

| We're back to music again! Seeing hackerman Tao in action was cool, he definitely has his moments. Angela and Ertegun is a combination that I'd like to see again, really liked their song. C & T bringing the cozy feels to a big festival~ |
| Good episode! Really glad Black_Knight was able to be caught. Although, I do think it's a bit odd how Tao has become less of an antagonist than he was in the beginning of the series. This episode has put him completely in the protagonist camp, it seems... Message in the Wind is honestly my favorite C&T song thus far. Beautiful, simple, and graceful. I can honestly say it gave me chills when they started playing. While the show has had some good songs in it, I feel like Message in the Wind fits, more than any other song in the show thus far, the theme of music made without the assistance of AI or algorithms. It's exactly the type of song I think about whenever I think about that type of music. It's so serene and poignant, and just... touching. It really showcases the meaningful side of music. |

| This was a pretty cool episode! Tao had some really nice moments, and Erteguns and Angelas song is one of my favorite songs in the series so far! Pretty crazy that Steve Aoki made the song, this show features some amazing artists! I'm looking forward to seeing how Ezekiel is gonna be~ |
| nice to see the stalker situation taken care of and that tao is showing some sot of care. definitely thought ertegun + angela's song had a familiar vibe to it, pleasantly surprised to see steve aoki produced it. wonder if ezekiel is who carole thinks he is and he's a first love type of deal? |

| I also felt a bit underwhelmed with the stalker thing but it was still a surprise to see who it was. Angela looked great there, pretty dress! Her song was nice but a bit too much of a vocaloid feel now.. like at first it complimented her voice but now it kinds got buried. So this time i preferred carole and tuesday their song for sure. |

| I'm surprised no one posted this picture of Tao. That was like my favorite part of the episode. Glad to see some exposition on Tao. He not only had some character and rejected that pollster guy Jerry but also tracked down the stalker before he shot Angela. Man, when I saw him aim at her it made me have flashbacks of Selena. =/ Glad Angela made it out. Tao is not so bad. =P I thought the sitting down for the concert was a nice touch. |
| I still like Angela's songs better than C&T. Their songs are really boring, nothing new or exciting about them. Kinda disappointed by the show, only a few episodes left and way too many side stories that contribute nothing to the story of C&T so called rise to fame. |

| Erteguns entrance was amazing! The whole stalker thing added to Tao and Angelas relationship which was nice but they really could've come up with something better to progress their relationship. Carole and Tuesdays song was exactly what I've come to expect out of them so I was glad to see them just humbly sit down and sing the song instead of being flashy and all. |
