What rating do you think this anime will have by the end of it?

I think it will rise above 9 because on IMDb it's at 9.3 right now.

It has the most generic plot ever with no meaningful theme, all it has is animation.
People said Demon Slayer is overrated, but compare to Solo Leveling, Demon Slayer suddenly looks like a masterpiece, let alone Takopi which is far better than Demon Slayer.

@Ventus_S Solo Leveling's rating has been consistently dropping since it started but I don't see you or anyone else talking about it. Hate Solo Leveling all you want, won't change the fact that you're just part of a loud minority. After having finished Takopi, I can confidently claim that Demon Slayer is a better anime.

The thing with the manga ending is that even though it was a bit rushed, the actual themes of the ending was really powerful and something the entire story was building up to. Essentially, the ending was really good, just the execution part was a little off. That is why I have high hopes for the anime. Every single episode it has really elevated the source material by adding new scenes, with strong direction and with powerful voice acting. I had problems with the chapters covering episode 5 too and I can say that the anime really polished it all up. If the last episode is a longer one like the first episode and the anime continues improving on the manga, I can see the score hitting around 9.08 and then slowly coming down to settle in the 8.95 region. If they fumble the execution like the manga, I can see the score dropping to 8.8 and then settling somewhere around 8.65-8.75.

With how much good the anime has done so far, I'm 99% sure we will see the first outcome. All I pray for is for the last episode to have enough length to properly explore the themes of the ending and add new scenes instead of rushing it.

I haven't watched the last episode yet, I'll watch it later, but damn, it did join the 9.0+ club, which means the ending wasn't as bad as some people claimed it to be? Don't know, I will have to see it for myself later today. I hope this anime is able to stay in the 9.0+ gang, it's rare to see these types of animes this highly rated, and I'm totally cool with it since I loved it myself.

Too bad this anime ended, it was a great anime and I will miss it, but every good thing will come to an end.

For me this anime is 7/10, I don't see any reason for such a high rating.

@llcrazyacell This anime was at 9.1 a couple of hours ago, and now it's at 9.0. I don't think it will last long, but at least it joined the 9.0+ gang for a bit, I guess.

I loved this anime, but the ending was on the weak side, sadly. So if this anime goes down, then it will be the ending's fault.
