| This was an amazing episode. Completely satisfying. Then the post credits scene happened that made me feel like garter belt blowing up 4 times in a row. Well that was something. I hope those season 2 promises are true! |

| Surprised this is getting a continuation, other than the visuals it didn't do anything particularly well. The characters were only mildly endearing, the jokes were only occasionally funny, and the western cultural references had no substance to them whatsoever. It had a few high points, like episode 6, so if the new series can manage more of those it could be good, but it feels like the creators were (and probably still are) quite complacent in their underestimation of how much effort and intelligence it takes to make good "dumb comedy" - simply pointing to Panty having a lot of sex over and over again isn't enough, the writing needs to be sharper and have more ideas. |

| Ah yeah, forgot to comment on it earlier but finished my third watch of this the other day, fuckin' awesome series! The sixth episode is definitely my favourite, took its place as one of my favourite episodes of a show to exist, but this last episode rules too, love the incredible action, the sick character moments, honestly like, my mouth was wide open through most of this in pure excitement or awe. Show's been on my mind nonstop so I think it's time I rewatch Kill la Kill next. Trigger is simply peak. I love how even the opening recap/credits is done like, so hype, hahaha! "Episode Direction: Hiroyuki Imaishi" is enough to get me giddy, haha! @Kinzo Damn. Let's see if this works twice: Hmmm, my turn. | Well, that was chaotic, lol. Definitely didn't go according to plan, that last bit I'm sure. I didn't expect anything else from Gainax but the segments felt hit-or-miss in general for me. |

| Lmao that Anne of Green Gables parody with raiders from Fist of the North Star. At least I think it was an Anne Shirley parody. It could be anything. Seeing Panty like that before that scene was a bit surreal tho. It gave off actual movie vibes instead of an anime parodying movies. That was brief. Somehow Panty got her powers back after fucking Brief as her 1000th man. Don't even know what the deal of that was. Ig not explaining it is the point? But as soon as she got her powers back she started treating Brief like dirt. What a bitch. She truly earned that title. Garterbelt's deaths were funny lol. The demon sisters were completely useless. Stocking's return was hype af. That live-action pair of legs was weird af. It was Panty & Stocking's mom? No way. Overall it was a pretty solid episode. But I think Episode 6 Les Diaboliques was still the best at least animation-wise. But then that post-credits scene. Wtf was that. Corset is still alive? Stocking is a demon? It makes no fucking sense. And they really did a sequel bait only to never do a sequel for 15 fucking years. I get it was probably due to rights issues but it's still shitty. I'm glad I didn't watch this before. I definitely would be pissed about this. Also, I bet the new season will completely ignore this ending like it never happened lol. This was a pretty unique anime. Probably the most vulgar anime I have ever watched. The dub actually rocked. The artstyle and animation were insane. The OST was killer. It was more than just a parody of Powerpuff Girls. I kinda wish some of the stories were better but it was still a solid anime. Panty and Stocking are probably the worst angels I've seen in media. Now I can finally watch New Panty & Stocking. But guess I'll watch the OVA first. For something similar I should probably watch Pop Team Epic at some point too. |

| People had this ending for 15 years?? omg 😭😭😭 This series was rlly good, loved Stocking a lot. Some episodes were like at the peak of anime for me and others were lame. Still a very fun show in a pretty dark time of my life, I appreciate it for that. Gonna start season 2 right away lol |
