I love this chapter, missed this moments, those are why S1 is one of my favorite animes. Not only because of its great animation, but because of Saitama not caring about ranking, recognition and also giving all the credit to Mummen Rider and the heroes when they fought the deep sea king.
Nowadays this plot is very common, but one punch man was one of the very first I ever watched, peak manga, story telling and characters

One Punch Man has gone through numerous rewrites and redraws, causing the story to repeatedly return to earlier points. For example, the series might reach chapter 210, but if the author decides to revise the story, it could be redrawn starting from chapter 200. As a result, you might see the current chapter labeled as 215 or 216- but if you also count the original versions of those chapters, the total would be closer to 262 or even 278. In short, the numbering is quite inconsistent due to all the revisions.

Best fucking chapter I've read in a while! Amai Mask went absolutely BRUTAL against the clown and Saitama at the end... absolute peak.

@mirachi_ that's not the reason.. the difference in numbering is that some sites count extra chapters which are found in volumes and some don't.. Redraws don't affect the chapters numbers because simply the revised version replce the old and the old is deleted

@Shironehh chapter 215 is the numbering of fan scanlations while chapter 262 is the official numbering of the official website that i link in the first post go see it for yourself and see it has number 262

New raws for it dropped and it's huge

One of my favorite anituberisms was when people were saying Re:Zero was this intense deconstruction on anime tropes when it came out, and then years later when I got around to reading it it was just lolicon chuunige.

@mirachi_ That's just a big fat disinformation. People like you, spreading stuff even without checking it, is the problem. No, the reason why it's update 262 is not due to redraws, but because in Japanese many chapters have historically been released in parts. So chapter 18 could have been split into update 19th and 20th. Or chapter 50 could have been split into updates 61, 62, 63 and 64.

@Shironehh what you do not understand? the official link i posted sometimes releases chapters by parts and each of them are numbered chapters too so thats why the official site has more chapter numbers

the fan scanlations just combine the chapters that are by parts
