Gachiakuta's voice acting is cringe inducing

I've watched a lot of anime but man, I find it annoying how in Gachiakuta they are screaming a lot of the time, or how they overexaggerate their pronunciations. I know other anime do it, but compared to other series, it certainly feels like it does it with greater frequency. It's like a lot of characters resort to screaming and being loud. Anyone feels the same or believes there's really no difference in its execution?

It is less about the voice actors (who do a good job) and more about the characters themselves, who are all quirky to the point of annoyance.

it's not the getting old part. I'm also getting old, but I adored the voice acting. The characters are just loud and quirky. I'm getting old in the sense that shounen action isn't interesting to me anymore... except Gachiakuta has brought me back because it was great.

Eh, I think the voice actors did their job well,
It's just the characters themselves, their lines and the like that I'm not really a fond of, and that's okay

like how Shimono Hiro (voices Fu in Gachiakuta) gets typecasted into the "pathetic guy" characters, like I can't imagine how much more obnoxious someone like Zen'itsu in Demon Slayer would be without his voice acting, it's genuinely a miracle that he managed to make Zen'itsu even remotely likeable

Most characters in gachiakuta are just painfully derivative versions of battle shonen tropes (not all). Which is why I think it didn't initially click with me even though the premise of promoting Reduce Reuse Recycle was appealing to me (specially in Rudo and his powers), but since none of the characters really spoke to me, it failed to really grab my attention. That is, until they introduced some charactera where I actually like the trope they embody and/or I find them actually interesting on a personal level

I got cringe dose already of some animes and with this reason Gachiakuta not look cringe of me..

Just zenitsu voice actor was annoying like everytimes.

Now go watch Tougen Anki, the OTHER Gachiakuta airing in the same season with a lot of the same stuff.

IMPO, the dubbed VAs did a good job. I typically watch everything in subbed but I rewatched the series with a friend who does dubbed and I found it enjoyable. The characters themselves are just a bit unhinged and quirky which I felt was captured well for dubbed. I wouldn’t make sense for them not to be loud and chaotic when the source material shows them being loud and chaotic

anime voice acting is and always has been "corny". and especially when it comes to dialogue. i think the reason you don't like it is because you have associated the use of "modern slang" in tv and media with actual corny shows like ginny and georgia, ect. but it fits the concept of gachiakuta as a whole very well, and especially with the diversity in the cast, and kei urana saying that only zanka and his family should actually be regarded as japanese, proves further that the typical language/diction used in anime isn't going to cut it. and because of that diversity, every character of course won't speak the exact same way. and i personally very much enjoyed the VAing/improvisation from the actors, and i thought it brought an extra little sprinkle on top to a show that's clearly supposed to be humorous in many different aspects. just adding an extra laugh onto an already very funny show :)
