| It's been a while since I've been this exited to watch something. Watched/tried probably over 25 shows this season. Definitely my favorite OP of the season so far and I also really like the ending song very much as well. So far, they're the only two anime songs of 2026 I've added to my playlist. Also heard a couple new tracks to the OST. I think the flashback was the first time we've ever really seen Frieren really injured. Himmel just casually lifting her afterwards. Did not expect to see Wirbel and his group again so soon too. The episode felt like it went by so fast. |

| The best adaptation ever made and it's not close. I love the manga, but this takes it and elevates it to the heavens. The scene where Fern touches her bracelet thinking back is the perfect example, it's so good it doesn't feel like an original addition at all. I'm praying they announce a sequel to adapt the absolute best arc as soon as this is over. I want to see it so much. Also milet's ED is absolutely amazing, she doesn't miss. |

| Glad to have Frieren back with a new season, and it starts off with such a pleasant episode that flies by very smoothly. Was nice seeing Stark be more of a focus at the magic-nullifying crystal cave as well as seeing his feelings about being with Frieren and Fern, wanting to stick by them even when things get a little dicey at times. Fern might not always praise Stark but you could tell she cherishes his presence in the party a lot when going to check up on him or even reflecting on the memories of the gifts that he bought for her which she thought about when being chased down by the monster in the cave while she was helpless and Stark was saving her and Frieren there. It was a very Frieren episode like in the early stages of season 1, chill with some nice heartwarming character moments. Production was top notch as usual. I did rewatch season 1 recently and this looked very close to those standards I would say. Music was amazing as usual too. I wish this was more than 10 episodes but I hope to hear another cour coming out after this one is done. OP and ED were really strong too, lovely songs and visuals for both (still would lean to the 2nd OP from season 1 as my favorite from the franchise so far). Can't really fault much about the return of this, it was really nice. |

| Nice to see them back. I missed the chemistry from this group. Confidence is higher than ever, with that extremely dangerous mission. Boy is STRONG. Stark and Fern shenanigans; Stark should know where this is going... We have a long journey tho. And unc Frieren. A wise elf-mage who enjoys caring for her son and daughter. | Great episode, love the introspection of both Stark and Fern. Not sold on the OP and ED though, they don't really do it for me as S1 did. |

| My most anticipated anime of this season is here and its as good as it was in S1, now cant wait for EP2. And as far I got to know from reddit that this season will be mostly travels & Adventure but I am not complaining, these mundane episodes of traveling and doing odd jobs is what fakes Frieren anime so captivating. But I am not so fan of this season's OP while I liked both the OPs of S1. The ED song is nice, Milet cooked again this season. Mimei Aoume did fantastic work in the ED visuals, solo animating and directing is very ambitious. I can't believe people are calling it AI looking in reddit sub and even in this forum !!! Fuck AI, it has corrupted people's minds |

| After almost two years it's finally here! and as expected from the same team that did the first season, this first episode did not disappoint! I'm very much looking forward to more Frieren Fridays and the entire 2026 anime winter season in general (which is somehow even more stacked than summer 2025). Also, I know some people are a bit worried about the whole 10-episode thing but I'm like 90% that it was the plan from the start to make a two cour season and that they decided to split it into two different seasons so they can start airing the second season earlier. My guess is that they probably will go down the route that a lot of anime these days take and do a 6-month break in-between and air the third season in fall 2026. (or maybe they started production early so they might even air it in summer after a 3-month break who knows) Also this shot of Eisen looks sick  And this shot of Frieren in the OP looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL  |

| Did not see Sein in the OP. Guess he does not have a major role this season. Sad. Just a 1 second cameo flashback. Animation and backgrounds are beautiful. Running away together with. Cool. |

| About as perfect of a first episode you'll get. So happy this show is back. Watching reminds me just how beautiful the show looks and while i'm sad there's only 10 episodes, the next two months will be a real blast. Already can't wait for episode 2! |

| What's there to say? Peak is back on the menu. Loved seeing the gang enter the magic nullifying cave and then escaping it, reminding Frieren of a similar moment with her time with the hero party. The stuff with Stark and how he feels about the group was also nice. For him to affirm his stance on the matter to Fern, showing his gratitude towards her and Frieren for helping him back then was really sweet. This season maybe only 10 eps but it'll be a great time nonetheless. 10/10, I'll always be grateful to Madhouse for this one. |
